Nullified Blood Screen Hit Effect Texture
NuBSHET
This nullifies the blood screen hit effect textures.
It doesn't change redness, blacking out, or actual bleeding. Just changes that direction damage indicator to either, reduced and pointed, very very subtle, or removes it entirely.

Place the chosen version's gamedata folder into your stalker Anomaly folder. This nullifies the blood screen hit effect textures. It doesn't change redness, blacking out, or actual bleeding. Just changes that direction damage indicator to either;A;
Pointed; A version of the original image with reduced appearance, still very pointed and apparent.
B; Subtle; A version of the original you should hardly notice.
C; NOFX; A version with an invisible indicator.
Completely removes center blood effects. It replaces ONE TEXTURE, the ui_hud_hit_mark.dds, so there's no way it causes crashes. If it asks to overwrite something, that's because your damage indicator texture has been modified or extracted, and, even then, it shouldn't cause a crash.
If I knew what files governed redness, I'd probably modify that. If I had more time I would make this texture high resolution and more detailed, but still in effect in multiple versions. If I knew what files affected how this image was displayed I would make it fade quicker and adapt to screen resolution, so it would fade faster and appear only on the edges of the screen. If someone else makes these changes let me know, cause I may use them.
As I was modding anomaly, after modding stalker games since the original, this was the first thing that stood out that I couldn't find a fix for. I've seen one other that makes it like a traditional indicator that'd you'd see in like a ubisoft 3rd person game, but I didn't want that. I realize there would be a better way to remove it altogether, but I don't know exactly what files affect it yet. If someone else does, again, go ahead and please let me know. This is by definition a quick fix. Someone could release an awesome 10k version here shortly that actually just acts on the edges of the screen.
If someone knows that the blood screen effect itself isn't standard in anomaly, let me know that as well. I just don't feel like extracting another folder with anomaly just to run up and ask to be shot by someone like I did a hundred times testing various resolutions, sizes, and effects on this texture.
If you're like me, the bleeding effect button in anomaly either isn't working, or I just have no idea what it's actually governing. For me, hitting it doesn't disable the blood effects that appear directly in the center of my screen. It's hard to say if this is a quick fix for a bug or creative decision.
