I really feel that Ridgeside Village needs more connection content for its existing characters to the base game and SVE. The existing characters also need more story time and character building to put them on the same level as the original base game and SVE characters. Adding more new ones is just gonna cause Ridgeside Village to expand its greatest existing issue which at this point is a sense of overwhelming when starting the game and seeing your meet characters list go up by x3 when Ridgeside was supposed to be the smaller sister town in its current established lore to Pelican Town. I think having content like having Joja come to Ridgeside if you do the Joja Route in SVE of the base game would help. It would allow you a chance to have more interaction from base game and SVE npc’s in Ridgeside. Basically anything that ties the base game and SVE better to ridgeville would help and make that new npc count feel less alien.
