Amethyst Island is an upcoming expansion for Stardew Valley.
It will include 9 new NPCs on release; 2 will be unlockable dateables and 1 will be an unlockable roommate. More are planned for future updates after release.
Each family on the island will have their own story with multiple heart events and the island itself will have a story and questline.
It will add a new lavender crop that you can grow on your own farm.
Some locations included are the Honeybee Cafe, the Lavender View Apartments, and an ancient shrine to explore.
Amethyst Island is still early in development so there's currently no estimated release date, but it is being developed for 1.6.
Note: Lavender plant is created by me but other non-vanilla plants are from Lumisteria and DaisyNiko tilesheets.
