Changelogs
Version 1.0.1
Rewrote the letter. Scrolls now available the day after receiving it, and will remain accessible even if you lost hearts with the Wizard.
Version 1.0.0
Initial release.
I got the idea for this mod while playing my horrible challenge file where I'm not allowed to gain any skills other than fishing. My farm has become overrun with debris, and I haven't been able to get any bombs to remedy this. My remedy to this very specific problem was to come up with a fair way to gain access to the Dwarvish Translation Guide without breaking my own arbitrary rules. Though I made this mod for my own particular needs, I decided there's no harm in throwing it out into the world, so here it is.
Get to 4 hearts with the Wizard, and he'll send you a letter in the mail letting you know about his trade offer.
Dwarf Scroll I = 1 Ruby
Dwarf Scroll II = 1 Emerald
Dwarf Scroll III = 2 Aquamarine
Dwarf Scroll IV = 3 Topaz
Gems were chosen based on color, and number based on value (i.e. Topaz is worth the least so requires more)
TO DO: Figure out how to make the unlock requirement based on whether or not you've read the letter, and NOT on heart level (if you dip below 4 hearts with the Wizard in the mod's current state you will lose access to the store). I'm sure this is easy, I'm just not good at modding haha Did it!
