Morris has returned to the valley! He needs some help settling in, and who better to ask than everyone's favorite
This mod includes multiple schedules and dialogue, as well as 13 events (plus some crossover ones!).
By default, Morris lives in the Community Center Attic, which this mod adds on the right-hand side of the Community Center just behind the fence. Optionally, if you have Pelican Valley Lofts (a separate mod created by fireredlily), he'll live in apartment 3F instead. You can override which location he lives in using the Residence option in the config (it's set to 'auto' by default).
Note: in the 1.5 version, he was also able to live in the Boarding House (a separate mod created by TrentXV). That mod hasn't been updated for 1.6 yet, so I've disabled it. Once that mod gets updated for 1.6, I'll add it back in as another option.
This Morris is not marriageable. If you'd like to have that option, consider the Marry Morris mod! More info in the Compatibility section below.
Mod Compatibility
Haven't found any mods this outright breaks, but let me know if you find issues anywhere.
This mod also contains crossover content; see the Crossovers section near the bottom of the page for details about that.
- Stardew Valley Expanded: short answer, YES this is compatible. However: this Morris is different from SVE Morris! If you befriend that one (who then vanishes after completing the community center) and then start this mod, you will not retain heart levels etc. Their gift tastes are different too. If you'd like an in-game reason, just imagine his entire personality has shifted after losing everything he's ever held dear :)
- Marry Morris: currently these two mods aren't compatible lore-wise, but the game treats them as separate NPCs - so, yes, you can have two Morrises running around if you want. There's even an easter egg cutscene if you have both of these mods installed! (See the Crossovers section for details on triggering it.) Note that Marry Morris is marriageable while Morris Redeemed is not. (Coincidentally, we released our Morris mods on the same day lol)
- Community Center Reimagined: compatible!
- Diverse Stardew Valley: compatible with Marlon, Gunther & Morris (DSV Seasonal Outfits).
- Piper - A Pierre Rewrite: compatible!
- Luau to Feast of the Sun: compatible!
Morris is not immediately available; he only appears after the Community Center has been completed and his first event has been triggered. This mod can be added to preexisting saves.
- This mod won't trigger if you go the Joja route (as far as I can tell. If you somehow manage it let me know!)
- This mod will not trigger in Year 1. If you complete the Community Center in Year 1, you'll have to wait till Year 1 ends. It can trigger any year after that.
- Once these conditions are met, enter the bus stop after completing the Community Center. This will start a 2-week time delay. After that delay, enter the Bus Stop on a rainy day to trigger the first cutscene.
Gift Tastes
Morris is a bit of a food connoisseur; most of his preferences are food-related.
- Loves: wine, sushi, triple shot espresso, most hot meals
- Likes: coffee, certain meals/desserts
- Neutral: diamonds, beer, pizza, certain meals/desserts
- Dislikes: eggs and meals featuring them
- Hates: yams, kale, ginger ale, certain meals

Schedules
Morris' schedule changes following certain heart events.
- First Schedule: Spoiler:ShowWhen he first moves in, he spends most of his days walking around the town, mountain, and beach, looking for work. He spends his Sundays cooped up at home, and goes to the community center on rainy days.
- Middle Schedule: Spoiler:ShowAfter his 4 heart event, he spends every day but Sunday at the community center for most of the day. He stays at home on Sundays.
- Final Schedule: Spoiler:ShowAfter his 8 heart event, his schedule becomes much more varied. He spends Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the community center. On Wednesdays and Fridays he goes to the saloon in the evenings. On Tuesdays, he goes for a walk around Cindersap forest. On Thursdays, he visits the museum. On Saturdays, he goes for a walk around the railroad and the beach. On Sundays, he buys groceries from Pierre's, and then visits the community center for a little bit. In winter, he'll visit the museum on Saturdays and Tuesdays. He has two schedules for rainy days: either he'll stay home, or he'll go to the museum (each has a 50/50 chance of happening). He can be invited to movies. He starts attending festivals, and may be selected to visit the resort or to be gifted for Winter Star. Event Triggers
Heart Events
Morris has at least one heart event every two hearts. Each event requires the previous event to have been seen before it can be triggered.
- 0 Hearts: see 'how to trigger mod'; there will be a letter in your mailbox the next day as well.
- 2 hearts part 1: mountain on a sunny day while Linus is present.
- 2 hearts part 2: railroad on a sunny day after seeing the previous one.
- 4 hearts: community center on a rainy day while Morris is present; must not be Wednesday.
- 6 hearts: community center on a sunny day while Morris is present.
- 8 hearts: community center on a rainy day while Morris is present.
- 10 hearts: community center on a sunny day while Morris is present; must not be Wednesday.
Bonus Events
This mod has a few bonus events. These are brief and can be tricky to trigger; they show some of his interactions around the valley. They will only trigger after his 8 heart event.
- Museum while Morris is present.
- Hospital while Morris is present. This only happens one day a year:Spoiler:ShowFall 23
- Community center while both Morris and Clint are present.
- A week after taking Morris to see a movie, enter town on a sunny day between 9am and 6pm while both Morris and Lewis are present; this will trigger one event. Two weeks after that, enter the community center on a sunny day when both Morris and Lewis are present to trigger another event.
- Mountain on a sunny day between 8pm and 11pm. This one requires you to have seen every other event first, including his 10 heart event and all bonus scenes (but not crossover scenes).
Crossovers
This mod contains crossover content with a bunch of other mods! These only trigger if you have the other mod installed as well. Additionally, CrossoverContent must be enabled in the config. In the 1.6 version, it is enabled by default (but you can disable it at any time if you get tired of seeing Morris everywhere lol):
- Marry Morris: there is an easter egg event if you have both Morris mods installed at the same time:Spoiler:ShowYou must have seen Morris Redeemed's 4 heart event, and you must not be dating or married to Marry Morris. Enter town on a sunny Monday or Friday while both Morrises are present between 6am and 10am. Note: this event has a 10% chance of happening whenever the other conditions are met, so it can be tricky!
- Juliet and Jessie: there are three crossover events, with accompanying conversation topics:Spoiler:ShowTown on a sunny day between 9am and 6pm while both Morris and Juliet are present, after seeing both Morris' 8 heart event and Juliet's post-CC completion event; Mountain on a sunny day between 8pm and 11pm, 5 days after the last event; Town on a sunny day between 9am and 6pm, 5 days after the last event
- Jorts and Jean: there is one crossover event:Spoiler:ShowEnter town on a sunny day between 9am and 6pm when Morris, Jorts, and Jean are all present after seeing Morris' 8 heart event and Jorts & Jean's Joja flashback scene
- Ridgeside Village: after Morris' 8 heart event, there are crossover schedules and gift tastes, as well as festival positions:Spoiler:ShowMorris will visit Pika's in the Spring and Summer on the 20th if it's not raining; he will visit the Log Cabin Inn in the Fall and Winter on the 13th after the Inn has been expanded; he will attend the Ridgeside Gathering and the Ember of Resolutions festivals; and his loved gifts are Honey Ginger Whitefish, Zesty Tuna, Highland Blueberry Pie, Sweet Cranberry Cheesecake, Clementine Juice, and Crunchy Bagel
- East Scarp: after Morris' 8 heart event, there is a crossover schedule and gift tastes:Spoiler:ShowMorris will swing by Rosa's cart on the 6th of each season if it's not raining, and Rosa's Baklava is a loved gift for him
- Part of a Saloon Breakfast: after Morris' 8 heart event, there is a crossover schedule and gift tastes:Spoiler:ShowMorris will have breakfast at the Saloon on the 9th of each season, and the Fresh Orange Juice is a loved gift for him
Some of the mods that have crossover content were made for 1.5 and haven't yet been updated to 1.6, so they don't work anymore. I haven't removed that content, but I have disabled it by placing them under another config option called 'UntestedCrossoverContent', which is disabled by default. If those mods get updated for 1.6, I'll update them accordingly. Those mods are below:
- Tricks and Treats: after Morris' 8 heart event, Morris takes part in the Spirit's Eve festivities if installed
- Joja Fairy Rose: the flower added by this mod is a loved gift for Morris
- Stray Catfe: after Morris' 8 heart event, there is a crossover schedule:Spoiler:ShowMorris will visit the Catfe on the 4th of each season
Notes On 1.5 Version
I don't maintain the 1.5 version of Morris Redeemed anymore, but I've kept it available in the Files page if you really want it (version 2.1.0). If you decide to use it, here are some things you should know:
- 1.5 versions of the mods Anti-Social NPCs and Custom NPC Exclusions are required.
- The first cutscene has a 50% chance of happening each rainy day at the Bus Stop once the Community Center has been completed and Year 1 has ended. This means it may take a few tries to trigger.
- If you have the 1.5 version (version 4.0.9+) of Boarding House (a separate mod created by TrentXV) installed, he will live there instead of the CC attic. Boarding House is not required, however.
- Crossover Content is enabled by default. Mods that are listed in the Crossovers section as being 'untested' in 1.6 will work with the 1.5 versions of those mods.
