Some of the cosmetic changes that Robin makes when she upgrades your house have always baffled me. I decided to make some small edits to make the upgrades more consistent.
The changes I made were essentially making the door, roof tiles, wood panelling, window shutters and stone be the same colour in every version of the house. Also changed the door mat to a recolored version of the one featured in the first upgraded house because I hated the fact that it changes back and forth.
Don't even mention the asymmetric windows. I might fix that too at some point.
If you notice any stray pixels or mistakes please let me know!
To install simply replace your Houses.xnb file in /Content/Buildings with the file provided.
new! uploaded a version to use with Content Patcher so you don't have to replace any XNB files. Untested 'cos I'm lazy, but it should work fine.
