Meet Eli & Dylan, a dynamic brotherly duo who moved to East Scarp one year prior to The Farmer! This story-told-twofold will see you indulging Eli's insatiable interest in the mysteries that lie beyond the edge of the forest, while encouraging Dylan to build his confidence and explore the deepest trenches of the Gem Sea. Enjoy tons of unique dialogue, immersive events, new locations, items, crops, fish, and more!



The following mods are requiredEast ScarpSpacecore, Lumisteria's Tilesheets (Indoor and Outdoor), Custom Companions and M.E.E.P

Simply drop the extracted Eli & Dylan folder into your Mods directory, ensuring you have all of the prerequisites. 

You will first encounter Eli in Pelican Town after seeing the Wizard's first event, and Dylan on East Scarp's beach. It's not a hard requirement, but Event Lookup as well as Lookup Anything are excellent additions to any playthrough with content mods such as this one.

I highly recommend playing with NPC Map Locations, as their schedules have elements of randomisation to them.

Eli & Dylan is fully compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and most other content mods.



Eli (He/Him) is an energetic, overenthusiastic cryptozoologist and part time adventurer, while Dylan (He/Him) is a more serious and reserved marine biologist. They share their home with Soot, a Dust Sprite rescued from the depths of Pelican Town's mines, and their roof with Thistle - a strange corvid watching over Dylan. Their stories combined include several other residents of The Valley, including Elliott, Leah, Emily, Maru and Demetrius as well as the cast of East Scarp and it's add-on mods including Sword & Sorcery, Lurking in the Dark, Creative Differences and the upcoming Bear Family.

Eli is gay, and Dylan is asexual. Neither brother is romanceable at this time.




This mod adds 7 crops, five fish, 11 new beach forageables, 2 warp totems, and a new functioning aquarium! Being Lookup Anything compatible, every item added by Eli & Dylan is marked as such. It also includes 7 new maps, some permanent and some temporary, as well as hundreds of lines of dialogue and 36 new events. The brothers have two sets of seasonal portraits in addition to some dynamic extras!

Is this mod compatible with SVE/RSV/ES/DTZ/VMV etc?
Yes! Things might look a bit odd with SVR3 installed since I haven't yet added compatibility, but it shouldn't be worse than them trying to sit on benches that got moved.

Eli is standing on Jorts at the Saloon!
Unfortunately, there is only so much space at the Saloon when you have a lot of NPCs installed - especially on Fridays! They are canonically enjoying some quality petting time together.

Eli or Dylan has duplicated!
This is a known vanilla bug that can also affect custom NPCs. Typing debug killnpc Nova.Eli or debug killnpc Nova.Dylan into the SMAPI window will remove them. Don't worry! The original will get better the next day.

Will you make them romanceable?
Eli? Possibly. Dylan? Nope. He isn't playersexual, sorry!

I just installed them and they won't get out of bed!
This is another known bug with custom NPCs! They won't move for the first day, but should start following their schedules on the next.

Can I translate your mod?
The answer will probably be a yes, but please ask me first! The mod is fully i18n compatible, just be sure to upload the i18n file rather than the full mod. Also I do not recommend machine translations, as they lose a lot of the dialogue's nuance and are more likely to break things.
