Update to 1.6 thanks to mouahrara

Inspired by a Reddit post entitled Why can’t they make a way to STOP losing days if you go afk by accident…

I made a mod that stops time if you go AFK.

By default this mod will pause the game if it doesn't receive cursor movement or button press for 3600 ticks (~60 seconds). Any player input including cursor movement will restart the timer.

You can change the number of ticks in the config or GMCM menu (there are ~60 ticks per second).

You can prevent cursor movement from waking up the game in the config.

You can also have the mod display a scroll with text that says "AFK" in the middle of the screen by enabling it in the config.

By default the mod pauses the game rather than just stopping the game clock. This is equivalent to having a menu open. If you turn off FreezeGame in the config, things like NPC movement will continue while AFK but time will not progress.

Config

You can edit the config.json file that is created when first running the game or use GMCM.

Technical

Requires SMAPI, uses Harmony.

Implements a Generic Mod Config Menu interface to change config settings in-game.
