Hey, Hi, Howdy, and Hello
I love coal trees, but they are so rare! The chances that lighting will strike a fruit tree are so low, actually impossible for me due to the fact that I place all my fruit trees indoors... anyway, I love them and want to collect them all.
But these are a little different from your standard coal trees, they produce a special "Coal Fruit." Coal Fruit can be harvested from all of these trees during fall, and if you pop them into a charcoal kiln you'll get back 5-10 coal each.
The Coal Fruit tree saplings can't be bought, rather you have to make them. Just pop a standard fruit tree sapling into a furnace and you'll get back a coal tree sapling of whatever type of vanilla tree you popped in there. There are 8 types, some with different seasonal variants, and they take 28 days to grow.
Note: unlike regular coal trees, these aren't as hazardous to the environment and won't emit charred smoke.
