Original sprites are from the base game, very slightly edited, so it's not a big deal if you want to use these edits in making a mod for SV. A credits mention would be a polite thing to do, but it's not necessary.
For any patches permission would be up to original sprite author, not for me to say.

I have added sprites with and without noses (default without).
Added a patch for Fantasy Wizard Seasonal Sprite Overhaul. Technically, 2 patches: for human and elf versions.
Got a permission from Rafseazz to add Ridgeside Village characters! Here's plenty of new NPCs to haunt you. Separate AT pack, because there shouldn't be any overlap.

This is a comedy horror mod. Let out your deepest darkest desire to attack Pierre with a club or run away in fear seeing Jas.
Shadow people use some kind of psychological warfare to make you see the villagers instead of the dark mass they really are. Or maybe there is something in the water... Feel free to speculate.
Technical details:
Shadow Brutes (dangerous and not) now use a random villager sprite (slightly edited/cropped to fit the ShadowBrute standart sprite).
Because it is technically a separate sprite, sprite replacers for villagers would need a patch, if you want them to look exactly the same as their real counterpart.
You can very easily make patches yourself, if it's your sprite or you have a permission (or you only make it for personal use). See the article for guidance. Or you can ask me, I suppose.

Note: Official DSV patch will not be happening, because Airyn is not comfortable with violent implications. Lol. Upd: We had the discussion, and it's time to agree to disagree. Communities are not monolithic, people can have a wide variety of opinions. I have removed all additional comments related to this, and will keep it this way. I'd say make personal use patches and be done with it.
If you use this mod together with my other monster retexture, don't forget to adjust the config accordingly.
