    Zic always displays sleep animations, unable to give gifts or chat. Perhaps it's because the schedule settings changed the NPC state to sleep and didn't adjust it back?
    When loading this mod for the first time, Zic can always have conversations, but once it reaches the next day, it will fall into eternal sleep. I tried using Let's move it to delete Zic, and when the Zic reappeared the next day, it returned to its original state and fell back into the loop again on the following day.
    In addition, there is another question that I am very puzzled about. I don't know why I am unable to obtain Purple Algae through fishing in any way, but I can catch other fish normally. Purple Algae is also not included in the output of Crab Pot.

      The issue with Purple Algae has been resolved, and I found that its classification is -81, which caused this problem. The collected items seem to be excluded from the fishing list, but by setting the Category of Purple Algae to 0 in Distant Lands - Witch Swamp Overhaul\[CP] Distant Lands - Witch Swamp Overhaul\assets\code\Objects.json, everything can be obtained normally.

    I am unable to interact with Zic at all, I got the introduction cutscene to him, but after that I couldn't talk to him at all or give him anything. I looked at SMAPI and I dont see any errors coming from this mod. I dont know what to do.

      i am also having this issue ! i came here to try to find a solution. when i try to talk to or gift zic it shows the "sleeping" animation for NPCs where they shake slightly and have a "Zzz" dialogue bubble. i also have no errors present in SMAPI. i will triple check i didn't miss something in the install, hopefully i can find an answer. ty in advance !

      edit: i feel a bit silly now lol. i think zic just sleeps in really late or goes to bed early, since whenever i talked to him i guess he was literally just sleeping, not as a bug. i talked to him mid-day and he was interactable! so problem solved for me i think :3 definitely an oopsie on my part

    i'm a bit confused, I looked at the config and am worried I'll be missing out on sve swamp maze. I haven,t checked with gmcm and didn't clearly see in the description tab how do I keep the big maze from sve?

    P.S. forgot to check if it's from your mod but crayfish soup doesn't have a cooking tag

      I had the same question/concern.  If you look at the "Files" tab and the look at the section labeled "Optional Files", there is a file labled "Distant Lands - Witch Swamp Overhaul Map Only" update.  I am running SVE with it and it loads the "maze" prior to the witches hut in my game.  YMMV.

      in GMCM there is an option to override the swamp maze, so the witch warp takes you to the mod's witch swamp. there is a second option to select "add path to forbidden maze" that you should select. it adds a path TO the forbidden maze, FROM the swamp. you can still get in there. its just not warp > maze > warp > swamp. it is now warp > swamp > path > maze

      ok so which method do I use if I want the most content for henchman and the path to be warp - maze - swamp? I still want to work for being rewarded with unlocking the witch house after completing the maze

      In GMCM or the config file:

      • overwrite forbidden maze map warp = false ← turn this OFF
      • add path to forbidden maze = false ← turn this OFF too
      did I get that right?

    Hello.
    [Content Patcher] Patch error: Distant Lands - Witch Swamp Overhaul > Load Portraits/{{ModId}}_GoblinZic_Blanket has a FromFile which matches non-existent file 'assets\NPC\sprites\Zic_Indoor_Portrai_blanket.png'.
    Where can I get this file, please?

    Hi,

    I don't think Distant Lands is compatible with SVE anymore, theres a quest in SVE that requires you to befriend the henchman and that requires different interactions than you do with Zic. So please download the version with just the swamp if you still want to experience the overhaul.

      Hi there!
      SVE removes all its vanilla Henchman NPC interactions and quests if my mod is installed. It is compatible but you don't get any SVE Henchman related quests with my mod installed

      Try to cast your fishing rot as far as possible (best spot is in top right island).

    Since Smapi has updated too version 4.1.10 and Stardew valley has updated for 1.6.9 on mobile recently will this mod work for mobile with the updates or do i need too download extra mods too get it too work on mobile, if not does it have plans too update for mobile and could you possibly give a date?

      I'm not sure about mobile compatibility, sorry. As far as I can tell, if smapi and CP work on mobile, then you'll need to install FTM and my mod will probably work too

    [game] The StardewValley.Object constructor was called with qualified item ID '(O)Aimon111.WitchSwampOverhaulCP_Purple_Algae'. The '(O)' prefix will be removed automatically.
