Diverse Stardew Valley Flower Queen's Crown Pack - Ridgeside Village
This add-on pack adds compatibility between Diverse Stardew Valley's Flower Queen's Crown feature and Ridgeside Village's NPCs. If this pack is installed and Flower Queen's Crown is enabled in DSV's configuration menu, then RSV's marriage candidates and kids will have a chance of being chosen as the Flower Queen! Comes with custom artwork and custom dialogue.
This mod requires Content Patcher and the SMAPI modding framework; if you have not installed SMAPI before, see the Stardew Valley Wiki's guide for instructions.
It also requires Diverse Stardew Valley - Seasonal Outfits, Ridgeside Village, and Seasonal Outfits for Ridgeside Village.
In order to use this add-on pack, you will need to configure DSV Core so that Flower Queen's Crown (FQC) is set to "true".
The easiest way to do this is with the Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM) mod. GMCM adds a small cog-shaped button to the lower-left corner of the Stardew Valley title screen, which allows you to edit config options in-game via an easy-to-use interface with either check boxes or scrollable drop-down menus. Once GMCM is downloaded and installed, DSV will automatically detect it and become available for configuration from the title screen. Please refer to the Diverse Stardew Valley website for a visual guide to the various options available.
DSV Core also has an option for FQC Immersion Mode, which restricts custom NPCs from becoming Flower Queen until at least Year 2. DSV FQC - RSV is compatible with Immersion Mode and can be used with it set to either true or false. For more details on Immersion Mode, see the DSV website.
This mod is compatible with Nonbinary TheyThem Maddie and Gender-Neutral Ridgeside Village. It is not compatible with alternate portrait mods for RSV.
For anyone wanting to create a mod to add other custom NPCs as Flower Queen candidates, the Diverse Stardew Valley FQC - Always Raining in the Valley add-on can be used as a template. Anyone is welcome to create their own add-on pack as long as they have permission from the original character author, both the original character author and the DSV Team are credited appropriately, and Donation Points are either disabled or donated to charity. See the Flower Queen's Crown section of Adding Compatibility on the DSV website for a detailed explanation of how to create a FQC add-on pack.
A copy of the Flower Queen's crown for portrait and sprite with a transparent background is available in the Optional Files section of the DSV FQC - ARV page as a template and mod creators are welcome to modify it as needed to fit their character. The design of the crown should be kept the same though.

This mod currently has no translations, but is i18n compatible. If you are interested in translating it, please send the translated i18n file to Airyn for inclusion in the mod.
