Simply put any wine or juice into a preserves jar to turn it into vinegar. The process will take 2 days. The output is just normal-quality vinegar, independently of your input.
If you use Automate, you will need to also have PFMAutomate in order for this recipe to be automated (and be careful to not put preserve jars and kegs in the same production line, if you don't want to accidentally turn your wine into vinegar).
Notes:
I'm using the preserves jar just because if you are using Automate, then freshly made wine could instantly get into kegs/casks and turn into vinegar, which is probably undesired. This way you can separate wine-making and vinegar-making or join them however you want. It also makes sense thematically since the preserves jar is already used for fermentation (pickles).
I considered adding different qualities or even names for the vinegar, such as "Rice Vinegar", "Apple Vinegar", etc. But since vinegar is only used for cooking in this game, it didn't make much sense to create that much complexity just for this.
I'm aware other mods similar to this already exist, but I'm unhappy with them as they are either too restrictive or don't take Automate into consideration.
