Thanks to the AMAZING Seasonal Outfits Code Template by AirynS Seasonal Sam is now a stand-alone CP mod!
All art credits are the same for the new CP versions.
Seasonal Outfits- Slightly Cuter Aesthetics no longer required but compatible.
Also compatible with Diverse Stardew Valley - Seasonal Outfits (DSV)
Simply disable Sam in either mods' configurations.
The previously optional Spirit's Eve costume is included in all CP versions.

Currently, this mod is an image replacement for Sam if using Seasonal Outfits- Slightly Cuter Aesthetics (or another similar mod), AS IT WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ON IT'S OWN!!!
This mod is basically just image files to replace files in another mod. I have mulletfied every sprite and portrait except the Spirit's Eve one( from Seasonal - Cuter), because it doesn't show his hair. Every time I look at Sam now I think of Keifer Sutherland's character David in The Lost Boys.
The art in this mod is not entirely my own:
All base sprites, the Summer portrait, Flower Dance portrait, and Festival Portraits (minus Winter Ice Fest Portrait outfit andOptional Spirit's Eve Costume Portrait/Sprite) are taken from the essential Seasonal Outfits- Slightly Cuter Aesthetics and were drawn by it's author, Poltergeister, with open permissions.
The Mullet for the sprites were taken from the amazing (CP) Sam Mullet Replacement by Rosenbug, who gave me permission to use their assets.
The Mullet for the portraits, the additional shading on Sam's face, and the portrait for Fall were taken from the fabulous (CP) Sam's New Mullet by BugboyBehaviour with open permissions.
The Spring, Winter Ice Fest Portrait, and Optional Spirit's Eve Portrait/Sprite outfits were drawn by me.
(Legacy Version: Pretty much the same minus the new outfits and the Spring and Winter Indoor/Outdoor outfits are by me, PixelHag.)
NEW Seasonal Scruffy Sam with a Mullet has all the same permission info as above, with facial hair added by me.
PkSunflower has been kind enough to add the eyebrow to Sam's surprised/shocked portrait (version 4.5 and 3.0 of Scruffy Sam) that was previously missing. Many thanks!
Basically, I did a lot of cutting and pasting, but Sam is now dateable IMO. This is my first mod and I'm new to pixel art so if you have any suggestions for me, post away!
How to Install the Non-CP Version:
FOR THE 1.6 VERSION YOU NEED THE NEWEST VERSION OF SEASONAL OUTFITS - SLIGHTLY CUTER AESTHETIC
Optional Files for Non-CP Version:
Sam Alternative Spirit's Eve Costume - Sam as David (Keifer Sutherland) in The Lost Boys. Will replace the original Spirit's Eve costume from Slightly - Cuter. Install the same way as the main file.
Seasonal Scruffy Sam with a Mullet for 1.6 - Same as the main mod only gives Sam a 5 o'clock shadow as well as the mullet. This mod also includes the alternative Spirit's Eve costume so it won't need to be downloaded separately. (I chose to do this so I wouldn't need to bother the original artist for permission right now. I know they are a mod author and have mods to update or are maybe even trying to play 1.6. If I see a need to, I will ask their permission eventually to use the original portrait but for now, mine will have to do!)

Installation for NEW CP Version:
- Download and install Content Patcher and its requirements
- Download [CP] Seasonal Sam with a Mullet for 1.6 and unzip.
- Move the [CP] Seasonal Sam with a Mullet for 1.6 folder into your Mods folder.
- If you have Seasonal Outfits- Slightly Cuter Aesthetics or Diverse Stardew Valley - Seasonal Outfits (DSV) installed, disable Sam in their configs or through the GMCM.
UPDATED FOR 1.6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soooooo some things have changed!!! Not only did we get 1.6 but the AMAZING Poltergeister added SO much new stuff to Seasonal Outfits- Slightly Cuter Aesthetics that I have been seeing mullets in my dreams! New Mullets include:- Vanilla Winter Indoor/Outdoor
- Festivals: Egg Festival, Luau, Fair, Ice Festival, Winter Star, Jellies!
- A new optional Spirit's Eve Costume (optional only for non-CP version)

- DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL SEASONAL OUTFITS - SLIGHTLY CUTER AESTHETICS FIRST
- Download Seasonal Sam with a Mullet and extract (unzip), open the folders until you see the 'assets' folder, STOP.
- Open Seasonal Characters - Slightly Cuter Aesthetic's mod folder, [CP] Seasonal Cute Characters, STOP when you see the assets folder.
- Copy Seasonal's Sam's asset folder and paste it into [CP] Seasonal Cute Characters.
- YES, you want to replace the files.
- Now Sam has Mullet. Celebrate.
- (Optional Spirit's Eve Costume installs exactly the same)
