This mod is inspired by KarratKake's mod which has a near identical functionality, though I made this to be compatible for 1.6 and added customisable toggles for different types of grass (as 1.6 added in Blue Grass)
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI.
Compatibility

Works in single player and multiplayer
Config By default, all grass type tiles will remain if animals graze on them. Toggles can be used (via the config.json file or using GMCM if installed) to change how blue and regular grass behaves.
If, for example you wanted regular grass to behave normally but wanted blue grass to not be removed, you can set the values in config.json to: { "ToggleBlue": true, "ToggleRegular": false }
