Configuration
It is recommended that you use Generic Mod Config Menu to adjust the config settings from within the game. The in-game config menu will provide descriptions for what each of the options do. You will be able to adjust book availability, which books are enabled, how much they cost, and how strong their effects are.
Recommended
If you don't like how cluttered your Special Items & Powers tab might get with all my books and whatever other modded powers you have, might I recommend another mod of mine, Special Power Utilities? As an added bonus, you'll get custom pop-up messages and animation colours when reading my books!
Translations
In the transition from version 2.7.0 to 3.0.0, I completely overhauled how I handle translations in my mod in order to reduce unnecessary string duplication and to reduce the workload for both me and translators in future versions. However, this means that any previous translation mods that were not included with my mod are no longer compatible. If my mod did include a translation previously, it has been carried over... somewhat. Along with the new translation system, I also decided to set up proper licensing for my mod and its Github repository. The previous translations were all done by volunteers who, in the previous absence of a license, retained full rights to their translations. In version 3.0.0, I changed the licensing for translation contributions to my mod (and only translation contributions, not the whole mod itself) to the MIT License. This required permission from every previous translation contributor. Those who gave permission had their translations carried over into the new version of the mod. Those who did not respond when I attempted to contact them have had their translations removed, as I legally cannot include them in the new license without their permission. Therefore:
IF YOU ARE A USER WHO USES TRANSLATIONS: I am sorry, but there is nothing I can do about the translations that existed previously but are now missing in the new version until another volunteer translator offers new translations under the MIT License or until the translator who provided the now-missing translations gets back to me with permission to include them.
IF YOU ARE A TRANSLATOR WHO HAS CONTRIBUTED PREVIOUSLY: If you previously gave me translations for my mod and are surprised that they are now gone, that means you did not respond to my message here on Nexus Mods! Please read it and get back to me! Otherwise, we have already been in touch, and any translations written by you have been carried over into the new version, and you understand that any further translation contributions of yours will be licensed under the terms of the MIT License. If anything is missing that should not be missing, please let me know! Some things might have slipped through the cracks in the transition.
IF YOU ARE A TRANSLATOR WHO HAS NOT YET CONTRIBUTED: Know that by offering your translations to me, you are giving permission for them to be distributed under the terms of the MIT License. If you do not wish to license your translations this way, please feel free to upload your translation to Nexus separately, so long as you do not include other portions of my mod with it.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE A TRANSLATION: Ideally, you would submit a pull request on my Github found in the source code link below, but if you do not know how to use Github for that purpose or just don't want to deal with it like that, please make a thread on the Forums section of this mod page with your translation. If a language .json file exists in the mod for your language already, any text in need of translation will be marked with "/* TODO */" in front of it.
