Second mod from my "Romance" collection.
While I want to romance Caroline, I found romancing her immedietely a bit unimmersive for my liking, so I decided to write her a story.
FEATURES:
- Added 4+ new vanilla-like events with different branch choices to expand her personality. (Caroline 2 hearts - 3 hearts - 4 hearts, Pierre 4 hearts)
- Added 5+ new divorce events, each with different choices. Process this storyline will eventually make her romancable. Can be turned off. (Caroline 5 hearts - 7 hearts - 9 hearts - 10 hearts - 8 hearts (post-divorce), 10 hearts with Pierre and Caroline (post-marriage))
- Dynamic schedule depend on her marriage status.
- Rewrote her dialogues, including her festival dialogues and reactions.
- Added Caroline's marriage dialogues, marriage schedule, new spouse room and spouse area.
- 1.0.1: Added Caroline portraits compatibility switch so you can use this mod with other portrait mod. (Check the configuration).
- 1.0.3: Added Caroline's nose.
COMPATIBILITY:
- Stardew Valley Expanded: compatible at playable state. Added 1 new events to further explain Abigail's true identity if SVE Mature Events is on.
- Seasonal Cuter Outfits: compatible. You should not turn off Caroline changes in SCO because I patched directly into it.
- Romancable Rasmodius, Romancable Rasmodia: should be playable.
- sy_mokarin Datable (and Marry) Caroline: not compatible, if you want to make her datable right away, I'd recommend using their mod instead, as this mod requires you to play a moderate amount of time before you can marry her.
- RRRR: I didn't check that mod out yet, but base on its description, it should not be compatible as Jellonip said in the comment section that they muted a lot of SVE event and added their own version of them, so play with your own risk. Alternatively, you can turn off this mod SVE events so that it won't conflict with RRRR, but the storyline of 2 mods might be not be in tune with each other.
INSTALLING INSTRUCTION:
- Put [CP] Caroline Is Single into your mod folder.
- Check the configuration before playing.

FAQ:
Q: How can I know this mod is working or not?
A: If you're intending to play with fresh safe, there is a small change in Caroline's introduction, she'll said that Abigail is not very hospitable.
Q: Why does my friendship with Caroline drop down by 2 hearts after the divorce event, is it a bug?
A: No, it is intentional, after a messup marriage, I'm sure no one ever want to jump into another relationship.
Q: Are the divorce events unskippable?/Is there a consequence for skipping them?
A: Most of them don't, but there is one important event that can change your outcome with her, so I make it unskippable to ensure the story play correctly.
Q: Can I somehow marry her without going through the entire storyline?
A: Yes, there is an option for that. You can turn off the divorce storyline and can still marry her with that option on if the events somehow bother you.
Q: What's is your writing style?
A: I don't know, I'm not an English speaker so some of the dialogue may sound weird to you. If you see any grammar errors or just don't find my dialogue/writing suit your taste, feel free to comment your suggestions on the comment page, I'll definitely consider them! P.S.: sorry if my bad grammar ruined your immersion while playing this mod.
Q: Can I replay events from this mod?
A: As for right now, I don't have a built-in support nor want to make the events replayable, because Caroline status in this mod is tracked by the event seen flag. However, you can always use debug command (debug ebi <EventID>) to replay them, but I don't recommend using the debug to skip the stage of the story, it will likely break something. Each event ID can be found using Event Lookup or checking the spoiler contents above.
Q: Is it safe to remove/install mid-game?
A: You can install it mid-game, but remove it while still playing the same save will log out some error about missing locations, they don't actually do anything really, but may annoy you somehow. However, I do not recommend remove this mod while still marrying to her.
Q: Where is she after divorce/How can I find after the divorce event/What is her schedule changes?
A: I kept the schedule similar to her vanilla version, with some small changes for immersive purposes, notable ones are that she will hangout at the forest instead of Pierre's shop, or go to bus stop at the end of day. You can check her schedule that day with Schedule Viewer.
