MPS adds new tiered upgrades to the artisan and refining equipment in Stardew Valley. These upgrades improve the machines in multiple ways, such as:
- Increasing the amount of resources they produce.
- Lowering the processing times.
- Making them produce top-quality items.
- Making them produce items with the quality of the input.
- Giving them the chance to produce double.
- Giving them completely new uses.
This is the Machine Progression System:
- Steel. Requires Iron Bars and the base machine.
- Gold. Requires Gold Bars and the previous machine.
- Diamond. Requires Diamonds and the previous machine.
- Iridium. Requires Iridium Bars and the previous machine.
- Radioactive. Requires Radioactive Bars and the previous machine.
- Prismatic. Requires Prismatic Shards and the previous machine.
The 2.0 version of MPS allows you to fully customize the amount of resources needed for each upgrade. You can easily change them by using Generic Mod Config Menu.
You can also customize the appearance of the machines! You can choose between:

Legacy - Desaturated
MPS not only adds tiered upgrades to the Vanilla machines, it also adds new rules to their behavior. What this means is that the gameplay loop we have gotten used to is about to change.
Florists and foragers will love the changes, since:
- Bee Houses are now much faster and produce fixed-quality honey.
- You can then turn it into honey-flavored Mead by using the new Kegs, which respect the quality of the Honey.
- You can later age the Mead with the upgraded Casks, which work anywhere.
- Tappers produce more items and much faster. These tapper items can be put into Casks to have their value increased.
- Mushroom Logs produce faster and can double their produce.
Fishers will never farm again, since:
- Crab Pots capture fish from the area and have new interactions with different types of bait, allowing you to get a better haul.
- Preserves Jars now produce fixed-quality Caviar and Aged Roe.
- You can later age these products in the Casks, which work anywhere.
- Bait Makers, Fish Smokers and Deluxe Worm Bins are more efficient and can double their produce.
- Deluxe Worm Bins can produce Challenge Bait instead of Deluxe Bait.
- Recycling Machines now drop useful resources, such as different types of ores or Hardwood. They can also recycle Joja Colas.
Ranchers will be happy to never leave the farm, since:
- Cheese Presses create more produce and new expensive items such as Slime Cheese, from Slime Eggs.
- Slime Egg-Presses are much more efficient and able to create Tiger Slime Eggs, which open up the possibility of making Slime ranching a viable endgame choice.
- Looms create more produce and new items such as Duck Cloth, from Duck Feathers.
- Mayonnaise Machines create more produce and new expensive items such as Ostrich Mayonnaise, from Ostrich Eggs.
- You can also use Casks to increase the value of Cooking items, giving you a reason to cook for profit.
Miners will want to go to the mines every single day, since:
- Geode Crushers give more and better items and are capable of opening Artifact Troves, Golden Coconuts and Mystery Boxes.
- Casks now allow you to increase the quality of gems and minerals.
- You can later reproduce these gems and minerals with the new Crystalarium, which respects the quality of the input and is able to reproduce Prismatic Shards, Geodes, Metal Bars and Artifacts.
- You can later put these gems and minerals into the Keg to create the new Mineral Water, which triples their value.
- You can later put that Mineral Water in the Cask to further increase its value.
- Lastly, you can use the new Bone Mill to turn bones into top-tier fertilizers.

The way these machines are unlocked has not changed from the base game.
- If a recipe was unlocked when leveling up a certain skill, the next morning you will receive a letter with the new recipes.
- If a recipe was unlocked by purchase, the next morning you will receive a letter with the new recipes.
- If you install this mod in the middle of a playthrough, if any of the conditions above were already met, you will receive a letter with all the new recipes you should have at that point.
As for what the new MPS machines do, here is the detailed information you were looking for:
Bait Maker
Bait Makers create Targeted Bait from any fish. This bait will increase the chance to catch that fish when attached to the fishing rod (on top of reducing the delay before a nibble by 50%).
- Gold Bait Maker: creates between 6 and 11 pieces of Targeted Bait and has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
- Diamond Bait Maker: creates between 7 and 12 pieces of Targeted Bait and has a 20% chance of doubling its produce.
- Iridium Bait Maker: creates between 8 and 13 pieces of Targeted Bait and has a 30% chance of doubling its produce.
- Radioactive Bait Maker: creates between 9 and 14 pieces of Targeted Bait and has a 40% chance of doubling its produce.
- Prismatic Bait Maker: creates between 10 and 15 pieces of Targeted Bait and has a 50% chance of doubling its produce.
Bee House
Bee Houses create Honey after a number of nights. If they within a 5-tile radius of a flower, they honey changes from Wild Honey to Flower-flavored Honey, which is more valuable.
- Gold Bee House: produces a silver-quality Honey jar every 3 nights.
- Diamond Bee House: produces a gold-quality Honey jar every 2 nights.
- Iridium Bee House: produces a gold-quality Honey jar every 2 nights. Works indoors.
- Radioactive Bee House: produces an iridium-quality Honey jar every 1 nights. Works indoors.
- Prismatic Bee House: produces an iridium-quality Honey jar every 1 nights. Works indoors and has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
Bone Mill
Bone Mills produce fertilizers from a bone item (it is to say, those that have a bone_item context tag). Those are: Bone Flute, Prehistoric Scapula, Prehistoric Tibia, Prehistoric Skull, Skeletal Hand, Prehistoric Rib, Prehistoric Vertebra, Skeletal Tail, Nautilus Fossil, Amphibian Fossil, Palm Fossil, Trilobite, Fossilized Skull, Fossilized Spine, Fossilized Tail, Fossilized Leg, Fossilized Ribs, Fossilized Skull, Snake Skull, Snake Vertebrae, Mummified Bat, Mummified Frog and Bone Fragment.
- Diamond Bone Mill: produces 5 Quality Fertilizer, Speed-Gro, Deluxe Speed-Gro or Tree Fertilizer. It has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
- Iridium Bone Mill: produces 5 Deluxe Fertilizer, Hyper Speed-Gro, Deluxe Retaining Soil or Tree Fertilizer. It has a 20% chance of doubling its produce.
- Radioactive Bone Mill: produces 10 Deluxe Fertilizer, Hyper Speed-Gro, Deluxe Retaining Soil or Tree Fertilizer. It has a 40% chance of doubling its produce.
- Prismatic Bone Mill: produces 15 Deluxe Fertilizer, Hyper Speed-Gro, Deluxe Retaining Soil or Tree Fertilizer. It has a 50% chance of doubling its produce.
Information for modders: any item that has the bone_item context tag will be accepted by the bone mills.
Cask
Casks age products. Aging means increasing a product's quality. These casks can be placed everywhere.
Gold Cask
- Fully ages Beer, any Cheese, any Dish, any Mayonnaise, Pale Ale, Smoked Fish and any Tapper item in 11/12 days.
- Fully ages Aged Roe, Caviar, Jelly and Pickles in 14 days.
- Fully ages Gems, Juice, Meads and Minerals in 18/19 days.
- Fully ages Mineral Water and Wine in 28 days.
Diamond Cask
- Fully ages Beer, any Cheese, any Dish, any Mayonnaise, Pale Ale, Smoked Fish and any Tapper item in 9/10 days.
- Fully ages Aged Roe, Caviar, Jelly and Pickles in 11/12 days.
- Fully ages Gems, Juice, Meads and Minerals in 14 days.
- Fully ages Mineral Water and Wine in 18/19 days.
Iridium Cask
- Fully ages Beer, any Cheese, any Dish, any Mayonnaise, Pale Ale, Smoked Fish and any Tapper item in 8 days.
- Fully ages Aged Roe, Caviar, Jelly and Pickles in 9/10 days.
- Fully ages Gems, Juice, Meads and Minerals in 11/12 days.
- Fully ages Mineral Water and Wine in 14 days.
Radioactive Cask
- Fully ages Beer, any Cheese, any Dish, any Mayonnaise, Pale Ale, Smoked Fish and any Tapper item in 7 days.
- Fully ages Aged Roe, Caviar, Jelly and Pickles in 8 days.
- Fully ages Gems, Juice, Meads and Minerals in 9/10 days.
- Fully ages Mineral Water and Wine in 11/12 days.
Prismatic Cask
- Fully ages Beer, any Cheese, any Dish, any Mayonnaise, Pale Ale, Smoked Fish and any Tapper item in 6/7 days.
- Fully ages Aged Roe, Caviar, Jelly and Pickles in 7 days.
- Fully ages Gems, Juice, Meads and Minerals in 8 days.
- Fully ages Mineral Water and Wine in 9/10 days.
These times show the process from no quality to iridium quality (silver quality products would take 75% of that time - gold quality products would take 50%).
Information for modders: any Cheese or Mayo will be accepted by the casks as long as they have the cheese_item or mayo_item context tags. Any fruit or tapper item will be accepted as well if they belong to their respectives categories (-27 for tapper items, -79 for fruit).
Charcoal Kiln
Charcoal Kilns burn Wood items into Coal.
Steel Charcoal Kiln
- Burns 10 pieces of Wood into 3 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Torch into 3 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Driftwood into 6 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Hardwood into 10 pieces of Coal.
Gold Charcoal Kiln
- Burns 10 pieces of Wood into 5 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Torch into 5 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Driftwood into 10 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Hardwood into 15 pieces of Coal.
Diamond Charcoal Kiln - 10% chance to double its produce
- Burns 10 pieces of Wood into 5 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Torch into 5 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Driftwood into 10 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Hardwood into 15 pieces of Coal.
Iridium Charcoal Kiln - 20% chance to double its produce

Radioactive Charcoal Kiln - 40% chance to double its produce

Prismatic Charcoal Kiln - 50% chance to double its produce
- Burns 10 pieces of Wood into 10 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Torch into 10 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Driftwood into 15 pieces of Coal.
- Burns 1 Hardwood into 20 pieces of Coal.
Cheese Press
Cheese Presses produce Cheese from Cow Milk, Goat Cheese from Goat Milk and Slime Cheese from Slime Eggs. These Cheese Presses produce twice when they work with Large items.
- Gold Cheese Press: makes cheese in two hours.
- Diamond Cheese Press: makes cheese in 1 hour.
- Iridium Cheese Press: makes cheese in 1 hour. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 10% chance of doubling its output.
- Radioactive Cheese Press: makes cheese in 1 hour. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 30% chance of doubling its output.
- Prismatic Cheese Press: makes cheese in 1 hour. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 50% chance of doubling its output.
Information for modders: these rules don't use any context tags, so any items that go into the Cheese Press will require a specific compatibility patch on my end.
Crab Pot
Crab Pots are water machines that, once placed in a body of water, get fish or fish-related items the next day.
Gold Crab Pot - can use "Bait"
- If there's no input, it will get 2 silver-quality crab pot fish.
- If you put in a piece of Wood, it will get 2 random Trash-type items.
- If you put in a piece of Slime, it will get 2 random Algae-type items.
- If you put in a piece of Bait, it will get 2 silver-quality fish.
Diamond Crab Pot - can use "Bait" and "Wild Bait"
- If there's no input, it will get 3 gold-quality crab pot fish.
- If you put in a piece of Wood, it will get 3 random Trash-type items.
- If you put in a piece of Slime, it will get 3 random Algae-type items.
- If you put in a piece of Bait, it will get 2 gold-quality fish.
- If you put in a piece of Wild Bait, it will get 3 gold-quality fish.
Iridium Crab Pot - can use "Bait", "Wild Bait" and "Deluxe Bait"
- If there's no input, it will get 4 iridium-quality crab pot fish.
- If you put in a piece of Wood, it will get 4 random Trash-type items.
- If you put in a piece of Slime, it will get 4 random Algae-type items.
- If you put in a piece of Bait, it will get 2 iridium-quality fish.
- If you put in a piece of Wild Bait, it will get 3 iridium-quality fish.
- If you put in a piece of Deluxe Bait, it will get 4 iridium-quality fish.
Radioactive Crab Pot - can use "Bait", "Wild Bait", "Deluxe Bait" and "Challenge Bait"

Crystalariums replicate Artifacts, Geodes, Gems, Metal Bars and Minerals.

- Copper Bar: 600 minutes

If an item is accepted by the Prismatic Crystalarium but doesn't have a specific ready time, its time will be 2500 minutes.
Information for modders: any gem, mineral or metal resources will be accepted by the crystalariums as long as they belong to their respective categories (-2 for gems, -12 for minerals, -15 for metal resources). Any item that has the Arch object type will count as "Artifacts".
Dehydrator
Dehydrators turn Grapes into Raisins, fruit into Dried Fruit and mushrooms into Dried Mushrooms.
- Gold Dehydrator: 5 pieces of input required. Takes 1250 minutes.
- Diamond Dehydrator: 5 pieces of input required. Takes 750 minutes.
- Iridium Dehydrator: 4 pieces of input required. Takes 500 minutes. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 10% chance of doubling its output.
- Radioactive Dehydrator: 3 pieces of input required. Takes 500 minutes. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 30% chance of doubling its output.
- Prismatic Dehydrator: 3 pieces of input required. Takes 500 minutes. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 50% chance of doubling its output.
Information for modders: any fruit will be accepted by the dehydrators as long as they belong to their category (-79). Any item that has the edible_mushroom context tag will make Dried Mushrooms.
Deluxe Worm Bin
Deluxe Worm Bins create Deluxe Bait or Challenge Bait every morning. Deluxe Bait reduces the delay before a nibble by 67% and increases the fishing bar size by 12 pixels. Challenge Bait can catch up to 3 fish at once and reduces the delay before a nibble by 62,5%. These baits have different effects when used on the MPS Crab Pots.
- Diamond Deluxe Worm Bin: creates between 6 and 7 pieces of Bait (90% Deluxe, 10% Challenge) and has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
- Iridium Deluxe Worm Bin: creates between 8 and 9 pieces of Bait (75% Deluxe, 25% Challenge) and has a 20% chance of doubling its produce.
- Radioactive Deluxe Worm Bin: creates between 10 and 11 pieces of Bait (60% Deluxe, 40% Challenge) and has a 40% chance of doubling its produce.
- Prismatic Deluxe Worm Bin: creates between 12 and 13 pieces of Bait (50% Deluxe, 50% Challenge) and has a 50% chance of doubling its produce.
Fish Smoker
Fish Smokers create Smoked Fish from any fish and a piece of coal. Smoked Fish doubles the value of the fish and copies the quality of the input.
- Gold Fish Smoker: has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
- Diamond Fish Smoker: has a 20% chance of doubling its produce.
- Iridium Fish Smoker: has a 30% chance of doubling its produce. Requires no coal.
- Radioactive Fish Smoker: has a 40% chance of doubling its produce. Requires no coal.
- Prismatic Fish Smoker: has a 50% chance of doubling its produce. Requires no coal.
Information for modders: any fish will be accepted by the fish smokers as long as they belong to their category (-4).
Furnace - Heavy Furnace
Furnaces smelt ores or Quartz into metal bars using coal.
- Steel Furnace: turns 4 ores or 1 Quartz into 1 bar using a 1 piece of coal.
- Gold Furnace: turns 8 ores or 2 Quartz into 2 bars using a 1 piece of coal.
- Diamond Furnace: turns 6 ores or 2 Quartz into 2 bars using a 1 piece of coal. Has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
- Iridium Furnace: turns 6 ores or 2 Quartz into 2 bars using a 1 piece of coal. Has a 30% chance of doubling its produce.
- Radioactive Heavy Furnace: turns 15 ores or 3 Quartz into 5/6 bars using a 3 pieces of coal. Has a 40% chance of doubling its produce.
- Prismatic Heavy Furnace: turns 10 ores or 2 Quartz into 5/6 bars using a 3 pieces of coal. Has a 50% chance of doubling its produce.
Geode Crusher
Geode Crushers open geodes on the Farm. These Geode Crushers can open different items compared to the Vanilla Geode Crusher.
Iridium Geode Crushers can open:
- Geodes that give 2 silver-quality: Dwarvish Helm, Earth Crystal, Alamite, Calcite, Celestine, Granite, Jagoite, Jamborite, Limestone, Malachite, Mudstone, Nekoite, Orpiment, Petrified Slime, Sandstone, Slate or Thunder Egg. They can also give a random amount (3, 5, 7, 12 or 22) of Stone, Clay, Coal, Copper Ore or Iron Ore.
- Frozen Geodes that give 2 silver-quality: Ancient Drum, Frozen Tear, Aerinite, Esperite, Fairy Stone, Fluorapatite, Geminite, Ghost Crystal, Hematite, Kyanite, Lunarite, Marble, Ocean Stone, Opal, Pyrite or Soapstone. They can also give a random amount (3, 5, 7, 12 or 22) of Stone, Clay, Coal, Copper Ore, Iron Ore or Gold Ore.
- Magma Geodes that give 2 silver-quality: Dwarf Gadget, Fire Quartz, Baryte, Basalt, Bixite, Dolomite, Fire Opal, Helvite, Jasper, Lemon Stone, Neptunite, Obsidian, Star Shards or Tigerseye. They can also give a random amount (3, 5, 7, 12 or 22) of Stone, Clay, Coal, Copper Ore, Iron Ore, Gold Ore or Iridium Ore.
- Omni Geodes that give 2 silver-quality: Dwarvish Helm, Dwarf Gadget, Ancient Drum, Earth Crystal, Frozen Tear, Fire Quartz, Prismatic Shard, Aerinite, Alamite, Baryte, Basalt, Bixite, Calcite, Celestine, Dolomite, Esperite, Fairy Stone, Fire Opal, Fluorapatite, Geminite, Ghost Crystal, Granite, Helvite, Hematite, Jagolite, Jamborite, Jasper, Kyanite, Lemon Stone, Limestone, Lunarite, Malachite, Marble, Mudstone, Nekoite, Neptunite, Obsidian, Ocean Stone, Opal, Orpiment, Petrified Slime, Pyrite, Sandstone, Slate, Soapstone, Star Shards, Thunder Egg or Tigerseye. - Artifact Troves that give 2 silver-quality: Anchor, Ancient Doll, Ancient Drum, Ancient Seed, Ancient Sword, Arrowhead, Bone Flute, Chewing Stick, Chicken Statue, Chipped Amphora, Dried Starfish, Dwarf Gadget, Dwarvish Helm, Elvish Jewelry, Glass Shards, Golden Mask, Golden Pumpkin, Golden Relic, Ornamental Fan, Pearl, Prehistoric Handaxe, Prehistoric Tool, Rare Disc, Rusty Cog, Rusty Spoon, Rusty Spur or Treasure Chest. They can also give 2 Treasure Appraisal Guides.
- Golden Coconuts that can give 2 silver-quality Fossilized Skulls. They can also give 2 Banana or Mango Saplings, Golden Walnuts or Mahogany Seeds; 7 Pineapple Seeds, Taro Tubers or Iridium Ore. These Golden Coconuts don't give Golden Helmets.
- Mystery Boxes that give 2 random dishes or totems, 22 random seeds or 22 random fertilizers. They can also give 12 Hardwood. These Mystery Boxes don't give clothing, rings, books or other high-tier items.
Radioactive Geode Crushers can open:
- Geodes that give 3 gold-quality: Dwarvish Helm, Earth Crystal, Alamite, Calcite, Celestine, Granite, Jagoite, Jamborite, Limestone, Malachite, Mudstone, Nekoite, Orpiment, Petrified Slime, Sandstone, Slate or Thunder Egg. They can also give a random amount (4, 6, 8, 13 or 23) of Stone, Clay, Coal, Copper Ore or Iron Ore.
- Frozen Geodes that give 3 gold-quality: Ancient Drum, Frozen Tear, Aerinite, Esperite, Fairy Stone, Fluorapatite, Geminite, Ghost Crystal, Hematite, Kyanite, Lunarite, Marble, Ocean Stone, Opal, Pyrite or Soapstone. They can also give a random amount (4, 6, 8, 13 or 23) of Stone, Clay, Coal, Copper Ore, Iron Ore or Gold Ore.

Keg
Kegs create beverages from different items. They create Coffee/Triple Shot Espresso from Coffee Beans, Tea from Tea Leaves, Vinegar from Rice, Beer from Wheat, Pale Ale from Hops, Juice from vegetables or forage, Honey-flavored Mead from Honey, Wine from fruit and, added by MPS: Mineral Water from gems or minerals.
Juice now triples the value of the input and creates 2 bottles instead of 1.
- Gold Keg: is 10% faster. 10% chance of creating Triple Shot Espresso from 5 Coffee Beans.
- Diamond Keg: is 20% faster. 30% chance of creating Triple Shot Espresso from 4 Coffee Beans.
- Iridium Keg: is 30% faster. 50% chance of creating Triple Shot Espresso from 3 Coffee Beans. Copies the quality of the input.
- Radioactive Keg: is 40% faster. 70% chance of creating Triple Shot Espresso from 2 Coffee Beans. Copies the quality of the input.
- Prismatic Keg: is 50% faster. 90% chance of creating Triple Shot Espresso from 1 Coffee Bean. Copies the quality of the input.
Information for modders: you can make Juice with any item with a -75 or -81 category or a keg_juice context tag. You can make Wine with any item with a -79 category or a keg_wine context tag. You can make Mineral Water with any item with a -2 or -12 category.
Lightning Rod
Lightning Rods generate Battery Packs after a stormy day. Contrary to Vanilla Lightning Rods, these always create a Battery pack after a stormy day.
- Gold Lightning Rod: generates 1 battery pack.
- Diamond Lightning Rod: generates 1 or 2 battery packs.
- Iridium Lightning Rod: generates 2 battery packs.
- Radioactive Lightning Rod: generates 2 or 3 battery packs.

Loom
Looms create Cloth from Wool and Duck Cloth from Duck Feathers. These Looms produce two units of Cloth depending on the quality of the input (15% chance if Silver, 50% if Gold, 100% if Iridium). When they reach the Iridium tier, they always produce two units.
- Steel Loom: makes Cloth in 3 hours.
- Gold Loom: makes Cloth in 2 hours.
- Diamond Loom: makes Cloth in 1 hour. Copies the quality of the input.
- Iridium Loom: makes Cloth in 1 hour. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
- Radioactive Loom: makes Cloth in 1 hour. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 30% chance of doubling its produce.
- Prismatic Loom: makes Cloth in 1 hour. Copies the quality of the input. Has a 50% chance of doubling its produce.
Information for modders: these rules don't use any context tags, so any items that go into the Loom will require a specific compatibility patch on my end.
Mayonnaise Machine
Mayonnaise Machines make Mayonnaise from different eggs. Small eggs make 1 unit of Mayonnaise while Large eggs make 2. Duck and Void eggs also make 2 units of their respective Mayonnaise. Golden Eggs make 3 units of Mayonnaise. Dinosaur Eggs make 5 units of Dinosaur Mayonnaise. Ostrich Eggs can now be turned into 1 unit of Ostrich Mayonnaise.
- Steel Mayonnaise Machine: makes Mayonnaise in 2 hours.
- Gold Mayonnaise Machine: makes Mayonnaise in 1 hour.

Mushroom Logs produce mushrooms when left outside. The quantity of mushrooms generated scales with the amount of wild trees around the logs.
- Gold Mushroom Log: collects mushrooms every 2 days.
- Diamond Mushroom Log: collects mushrooms every 2 days. Has a 10% chance of doubling its produce.
- Iridium Mushroom Log: collects mushrooms every 2 days. Has a 20% chance of doubling its produce.
- Radioactive Mushroom Log: collects mushrooms every 2 days. Has a 30% chance of doubling its produce.
- Prismatic Mushroom Log: collects iridium-quality mushrooms every 2 days. Has a 40% chance of doubling its produce.
Information for modders: since I use the OutputMushroomLog function from Vanilla and I haven't done a 1.6 playthrough yet, I don't think modded mushrooms can be obtained through these mushroom logs.
Oil Maker
Oil Makers produce Oil from Corn, Sunflowers and Sunflower Seeds and Truffle Oil from Truffles.

- Gold Tapper: collects 2 tapper items. Is 25% faster than a regular tapper.
- Diamond Tapper: collects 3 tapper items. Is 25% faster than a regular tapper.
- Iridium Tapper: collects 3 tapper items. Is 50% faster than a regular tapper.
- Prismatic Heavy Tapper: collects 4 tapper items. Is 75% faster than a regular tapper.
This mod adds new upgrades to the Vanilla machines while respecting their look and behavior. What this means is that:
- They are compatible with everything and don't conflict with any other mods.
- They will not conflict with other mods that target the base machines.
- They will not conflict with other mods that change the appearance of the base machines.
What would need a compatibility patch would be those mods that add new rules to the Vanilla machines or new items that do not belong in a specific category. After the compatibility patch, you would be able to process their items with the MPS machines. If there is a mod you would like MPS to be compatible with, leave a comment with the link to its Nexus page.
I am, however, not going to add compatibility patches for
- mods that add custom machines, since the balance of a tiered system should be done by their creators. The goal of MPS is to improve the Vanilla machines to offer the player a new experience - custom machines already do that.
