Well aren't you lucky, because this is the mod for you!

With "Recycling Crafts" you'll be able to change the existing crafting recipes for upgraded items, to substitute some ingredients with basic versions of those items: e.g. using Sprinklers to craft Quality Sprinklers. In the base game (ver. 1.6.x) you need 2 Furnaces to craft a Heavy Furnace, and a Worm Bin to craft a Deluxe Worm Bin, but what if you could do the same with many, many other objects? There are also a few brand new recipes that you might decide to add to your game.
Don't be afraid of making the game too easy for yourself though, all revised and new recipes are designed to keep the experience as balanced as possible: e.g. if an object has "Iridium" in its name or requires a late game ingredient you still gotta need some of that good stuff!
Want to change a couple of recipes and not the others? Want to add some, all or none of the new recipes? Want to decide how many Chests you need to craft a Big Chest? With this mod you can do it all... almost!

Requirements & Compatibility

To run this mod you will need Stardew Valley ver. 1.6.0 or higher, SMAPI ver. 4.0.0 or higher, Content Patcher ver. 2.0.0 or higher and Generic Mod Config Menu ver. 1.12.0 or higher.
This mod should be compatible with any other mod that doesn't change the following crafting recipes: Big Chest, Big Stone Chest, Quality Sprinkler, Iridium Sprinkler, Bomb, Mega Bomb, Glowstone Ring, Iridium Band, Quality Fertilizer, Deluxe Fertilizer, Quality Retaining Soil, Deluxe Retaining Soil, Deluxe Speed-Gro, Hyper Speed-Gro, Tree Fertilizer, Deluxe Scarecrow and Heavy Tapper.
ATTENTION Even if you keep the vanilla version of a recipe, the mod still overwrites it, so you should still avoid using it with any other mod that touches those recipes.

Install

• Install the latest version of SMAPI
• Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods
• Run the game using SMAPI
  

Config Options

With a fresh installation of the mod nothing changes in the game, every option is disabled by default, to start recycling your goods you'll have to configure it from the mods menu, accessible by clicking the gear icon on the bottom left of the game's title screen. In the menu every option has an exhaustive tooltip when you hover your mouse on it, but let's take a look at them here too:
