This is a mod that updates Gigi's Hi-Res Portrait mod for use with Stardew version 1.6. It was originally created for my own purposes, but am now uploading with Gigi's permission.

Because I'm not 100% satisfied with some of the edits, I may make some minor changes going forwards. I MAY also make a CP version.
Aside from that, this mod is largely complete. At this stage I have no plans to update the mod to be compatible with any other mods like Ridgeside Village etc.

The files contains ONLY the portraits for new beach and winter outfits, new expressions, and the new NPCs added in 1.5 and 1.6. Because I made this for my own personal use, some of the standard portraits also have some minor tweaks (e.g. adding more wrinkles to the older NPCs).

This means for the mod to work, you MUST download Gigi's originals + the new version of Portraiture for 1.6 first. After you extract it, drag and drop the files from this mod into the folder, and replace all files where it requests you do so.

I've also included several alternate portraits:
  • Harvey portraits with added mustache
  • An redrawn Elliot portrait based on a WIP shared by Gigi on instagram (also used with permission)

If you want to use either of those, grab the alternate version download, then use those instead of the files in the main folder.

As this mod hasn't been extensively play-tested, there may be instances where the wrong portraits show up, minor glitches etc. If you encounter any in-game errors, e.g. the wrong portrait, weird positioning etc. please let me know and I'll fix it when I have time.

However, if you can't get the mod to work at all, or if NONE of the portraits show up please don't ask me because I won't know. You may be able to find an answer in the comments on the Portraiture mod or by asking around on the Stardew Valley discord.

Thanks!
