About this mod
Favorite/Lock items in your inventory to prevent them from being auto-deposited into chests using the 'Add to Existing Stacks' button. Useful for when you have a stack of items you want to keep for a certain purpose, but don't want them to be deposited when you go through and clear your inventory into your chests.

This mod was born out of my frustration with constantly having to grab items back out of chests when using Quick Stack. For instance, when I want to carry a few mushrooms with me for food, but also wanted to be able to deposit all the other types of mushrooms I store in the same chest without constantly having to grab my food mushrooms back out.
It was inspired by the favorite system in terraria, where the user can Alt+Left Click on an item to favorite it and stop it from stacking into nearby chests. This mod functions the same way. Left Click on an inventory slot while holding the Modifier Key (Left Alt by default) and the slot will become favorited. This is indicated by a white highlight being applied over the inventory slot. By default, this highlight only shows up while holding the modifier key, but you can force it to always show in the config file if you want. Repeat the procedure on a favorited slot to un-favorite it.
If you have multiple stacks of the same item in your inventory, the non-favorited stacks will still quick deposit like normal. This mod also does not prevent you from manually removing the items from your inventory. It only stops the quick deposit.
When using the Shift Toolbar button (Tab by default) outside of a menu, the favorite slots will shift to track/follow the item you originally favorited.
Currently doesn't support gamepads, I may add that in a future update if there is interest.
This mod relies on Harmony, so will be more prone to breaking after game updates. I will work to fix any issues quickly should this occur
