A portrait mod for Magnus Rasmodius (aka the Wizard).This mod uses Portraiture.
5/24/24 UPDATE: Additional versions are now available and compatibility with other mods:
How to install:
(1) Make sure you have Portraiture installed.
(2) Install like you would any other portrait that uses Portraiture. Here is the step-by-step:
(4) Open the game and go speak to any NPC (preferably the Wizard himself), then press the "P" key to toggle the set of portraits until you see the portrait you want.
On Sprites
I originally designed this portrait to go with the sprite included in RRRR (see RRRR mod page instructions on how to configure) For non-RRRR versions--please stay tuned as I work on a matching sprite set to use with any version.
Planned updates:
(1)add 12-expression, and 7-expression versions that are compatible with other mods
(2) Add a matching sprite set
(3) Add alternate versions?--Maybe more rugged? Maybe add a hat? DM me if you have ideas and strang feelings about it ;)

Thank you to Jellonip for providing an easy beginner guide to adapting portraits for RRRR.
Disclaimer: I often use AI tools to supplement my images. In this case spent several days drawing and editing on Procreate, and then maybe a total of 20-30 minutes on AI tools to bring in certain elements. For example the hand in the last two expressions is mostly AI-generated as is his medallion. However, an AI-generated tag feels a bit incomplete to me given all the drawing I put into it, but since I am new to modding I'll happily take your feedback (just DM me!). In the meantime, I hope I have addressed the main concerns with this disclaimer.
This is my first mod and it was originally meant for my own enjoyment. I hope you guys enjoy it!
5/24/24 UPDATE: Additional versions are now available and compatibility with other mods:
- 2-expression set for Stardew Valley (Vanilla)
- 7-expression set for Stardew Valley Expanded (SVE)
- 32-expression set for Romanceable Rasmodius (RR) and Romanceable Rasmodius Redux Revamped (RRRR). Note: make sure you config RR or RRRR (whichever you're playing) to a 32-expression set.
How to install:
(1) Make sure you have Portraiture installed.
(2) Install like you would any other portrait that uses Portraiture. Here is the step-by-step:
- Create a folder in Mods/Portraiture/Portraits and name it however you like (let's say "MyPortraits").
- Download the file version you want (for RRRR/RR, SVE, or Vanilla), extract anywhere, and copy the .png file(s) into the Portraiture subfolder you created. So for example: Mods/Portraiture/Portraits/MyPortraits.
- If you want to use this portrait with other portrait sets, place in the same folder as the other set and overwrite the Wizard.png. So for example, I use this with DCBurger's HIgh Res portraits so my path looked like Mods/Portraiture/Portraits/DCBurger. In this case overwrote the existing Wizard.png.
(4) Open the game and go speak to any NPC (preferably the Wizard himself), then press the "P" key to toggle the set of portraits until you see the portrait you want.
