A WIP continuation of CasualInvidia's wonderful "Spouses React to Player 'Death'" content patcher mod (with CI's direct blessing, not to worry!). This initial public release is just an under-the-hood rework. It should behave identically to the end user. Upcoming versions will be worth the download, I promise! The first revision should fix the bugs I introduced (apologies!). If all goes well, for the time being I will be 100% focused on adding the rest of the characters I have promised.
I have received permission to incorporate the characters from Ridgeside Village and the core of East Scarp! And to keep the Stardew Valley Expanded characters!
Just like with the original mod, it modifies the 'death' scenes at the Hospital, Mines, or Island to include your spouse (or ex). You've gained (or lost) a loved one, they should react to you nearly dying, right?
How to Use: (You can use this with any save, it won't affect your save's data)
Follow the installation instructions below
Play the game as normal (this content will only trigger when you die while married/divorced)
Check the "Ex-Involvement" option in the Generic Mod Config Menu if you want to enable content with NPCs you've divorced (and not memory wiped)
