Are you enchanted by Elliott, the poetic soul and esteemed writer of Stardew Valley, and long for a deeper connection with him? Is your love language words of affirmation? Gift-giving? Quality time or acts of service? If his vanilla post-marriage dialogues feel a little lacking and your answer to all of these questions is "yes", this mod hopes to cure that yearning.

Sweeter than Pomegranates 

 is a marriage dialogue expansion mod intended to make Elliott's personality as a lover and as a partner shine with more depth and warmth. As an Elliott lover myself, I found that there was a lack of (newer) Elliott dialogue expansion mods and this mod intends to fill that gap. 

This mod contains a variety of new lines (140 in total) with Elliott that make your marriage with him feel more genuine and vibrant.

This also contains festival dialogues, start and end of the season dialogues, new rainy and indoor dialogues, and even lines pertaining to the townsfolk and his work as an author. Without spoilers, he's a generous husband and will show his support to you as his spouse.

Elliott is a generous husband. He receives his book royalties occasionally and will buy you gifts from time to time. He also enjoys helping you out by buying resources needed for the farm and even... groceries!

The mod description also states that this mod will include suggestive and spicy lines. While it will not be explicit, some of the lines will connote that your farmer and Elliott have an intimate and sexual relationship (as most marriages do). An optional file is available that removes sexual/suggestive lines and replaces them to lean more on romantic/wholesome lines for players who aren't comfortable with the inherent suggestiveness of the main dialogue file.

What's new with SweeterPom 2.0? 

◦ 52 new lines (including new dialogue lines, edited dialogue, and item gift responses)
◦ Compatibility and exclusive new lines with Tiakall's RWE installed (must install CMCT)
◦ An optional file for those who prefer non-suggestive lines. You may pick one between the two files available.
◦ A small easter egg when played alongside Aviroen's Lance Expanded/LSSE.

Download the ZIP file and extract its contents into your Mods folder.

Alternatively, if you already have the previous version of STP, delete the old folder in your mods folder, then unzip the new version back to your mods folder.

Disclaimer: Under the circumstance that you downloaded the mod through Vortex and it did not unpack correctly, I recommend downloading the mod MANUALLY. Make sure all required files are installed and the mod file is properly extracted to your mod folder.

This mod requires Content Patcher 2.4.0 or higher versions.

For other issues, please make sure to include your SMAPI log info so that I may know how to rectify your problem. 



Is this compatible with Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion? -- Yes! If you have the 3.0 beta of CFDE, you can set 'Elliott' to "random" in the config which will make CFDE's edits apply 50% of them, thereby allowing both mods to coexist without issue.

Is this compatible with Realistic Writer Elliott? -- Yes! This mod also provides exclusive dialogue when played together with Tiakall's Realistic Writer Elliott. (Note: You must install CMCT for full compatibility).

For other marriage dialogue expansion mods, keep in mind that this mod might conflict with other dialogue mods that alter Elliott's marriage dialogue.
