Are you a female farmer who could not resist starting a new save just to romance Haley after hearing Chappell Roan’s Good Luck Babe? Are you a new player who installed Stardew Valley over that one Tiktok edit?  Alternatively, do you headcanon her as sapphic, and wish for a dialogue mod that subtly hints at this? Have you received Haley's iconic "eww" after inviting her to dance at the Flower Dance and said to yourself, "haha, that's wifey right there lol xD"? Well, this mod hopes to extend some love for our female farmers who can't resist but romance Haley every chance they get.

Inspired by Chappell Roan's Good Luck, Babe! (and that one Tiktok edit), Good Luck, Haley! is a pre-marriage dialogue expansion mod that tweaks Haley's dialogue in Stardew Valley by subtly alluding to her sapphic identity. This mod features new and tweaked pre-festival, pre-marriage, and dating lines tailored for the female farmer. (engagement + marriage dialogue, cutscenes soon to follow!)

𖥔 This mod features 70+ new lines, from generic lines (some are non-canon) to pre-festival lines and (years 1 and 2) seasonal and day-specific dialogue. The purpose behind this is to make your relationship and her dialogue progressive as the days and seasons go by.

 Resort island, festival dialogue, and marriage dialogue will be incorporated in a future update.

𖥔 This mod also attempts to capture her struggle with her identity, her blossoming feelings for the female farmer, and even the quiet moments of vulnerability that reveal that she is more than just the "mean girl" that people might assume of her. This mod is part of a plethora of dialogue mods that add variety to Haley's character.

This contains suggestive lines when you're dating Haley. While it may not be explicit, it does have a suggestive and sexual undertone to it. You may opt to not download this mod if this makes you uncomfortable.

𖥔 DO NOTE that this dialogue mod was catered and curated for the FEMALE FARMER. This mod will not be for everyone and that is okay. Just like any other mod, you may opt not to download this if it does not suit your taste or how you see Haley. You do you.

I also recommend that you try this out on a new save if you want to maximize the content this mod has to offer. That's generally up to you, though.

Download the ZIP file and extract its contents into your Mods folder. 

Disclaimer: Under the circumstance that you downloaded the mod through Vortex and it did not unpack correctly, I recommend downloading the mod MANUALLY. Do ensure that all required files are installed and the mod file is properly extracted to your mod folder.

This mod requires Content Patcher 2.3.0 (the latest version of the mod). Any other versions, while compatible with your existing mods, will render GLH unsupported.

For other issues, please make sure to include your SMAPI log info so that I may know how to rectify your problem. 



This dialogue mod is still pretty limited in scope and I intend on incorporating a i18n framework in the future for this, as well as for my other dialogue expansion mod Sweeter than Pomegranates. I'm also planning on adding more dialogue lines such as festival dialogue, gift acceptance dialogue, resort dialogue, and a marriage dialogue. Suggestions are happy appreciated and you may message me in private in such cases.

In the future, I might add new events (coming out cutscenes to the player and to Emily) in the mod. It will take time.
