Some of you might remember this old picture. After the 1.6 update I was finally able to make my smithy plan into reality.
This mod adds a new building Workshop. Inside the workshop you have a professional kiln for coal processing and pottery making. It processes 50 pieces of wood or one clump of clay. But be warned: the Kiln Gods are not always kind. The furnace can process 50 ores and needs 6 coals. There's also a dyeing station that works similarly to Emily's (has to be unlocked),a jukebox radio and water source (hit-boxes shown in the picture).
I wanted to add more functionality to the workshop but I have only used C# with Unity. If I have time to get into it I would add functionality that all of player's items would be available for the crafting menu inside the building or that the craft bench inside works as the in-game workbench. If someone wants to help me with this just send me a message, I would really appreciate it.
I have also made an additional skin for the building but so far I have not been able to contact eemie or minervamaga to get permissions to publish it (if anyone knows how to contact them, please let me know).
