Like the previous update, this one isn't as big as I'd planned but I wanted to get the Herb Seasoning bug fix to players who have both Cornucopia Artisan Machines and Wildflour Atelier Goods, so you get my kind of in-progress as well. I'm keeping the spacecore files but also disabling them by default. AND if you don't have spacecore, no worries anyway because it won't include the spacecore file if you don't have it.
-BUGFIX: I tried different things but because of WAG's complexity with its two separate modes (simple & advanced), I finally realized that the easiest solution to the Wildflour!HerbSeasoning error is to just use Cornucopia's DriedVegetables instead.
-UNHID: PieDough, PumpkinPuree, Worchestershire, HotSauce, GreenPasta(CMC/WAG), RedPasta -NEW ITEMS [HC]: --INGREDIENTS: BreadSlices, HardEgg, SoftEgg, RamenEgg, HardVoidEgg, Dashi --DISHES: 4 Seasonal Pot Pies with WAG & CMC addons, AutumnSeasonalSoup, RedNoodleSoup, ZuzuBreakfastSandwich -NEW ITEMS [AHM]: PumpkinRisotto, QuicheGrampleton, MashedStew, 3 Seasonal Soups -NEW ITEMS [CMC]: SpiceBlend, CaramelizedOnions -EDITED ITEMS: edited HotSauce's buffs to reflect the buff you get from Hot Sauce in the Desert Festival -EDITED ITEMS [ADDONS]: Added Salt as a requirement to TomatoPaste if you have Cornucopia Artisan Machines. If you have CAM & CMC then SaffronPasta now uses SemolinaFlour & Salt.
-VANILLA RECIPE CHANGES: added a toggle + edits BlackberryCobbler -FRIEND REQUIREMENTS: Not included but working on: personalized mail! --Emily: LemonPosset 1H --Evelyn: SundayDinner 6H --Gus: MashedStew 4H, QuicheGrampleton 6H, PumpkinRisotto 8H --Harvey: TomatoYogurtSoup 2H --Jodi: BroccoliBake 1H, SalmonChowder 4H, HamburgerSoup 6H, JojaRibs 8H, PotRoastPie 10H --Leah: SpringGardenSoup 1H, SummerGardenSoup 2H, AutumnGardenSoup 3H, WinterForageSoup 4H --Marnie: ChickenStew 2H, RabbitDumplings 10H --Pam: TomatoFishSoup 4H, CatfishNoodleSoup 6H, RedNoodleSoup 8H --Sam: JojaRice 2H, ZuzuBreakfastSandwich 4H --Sandy: OrangePosset 1H --Willy: ClearClamChowder 1H, ClamOreganata 2H, TomatoClamChowder 3H, OysterChowder 4H, CrabBisque 6H -GOING FORWARD: commonly used ingredients will be changed a lot. I already did it with Bread to Sliced Bread, but Garlic, Tomato & Springonion will have Sliced & Diceds (for Garlic, cloves) versions which should help in utilizing the ingredients in a lesser-wasteful manner.
Version 1.3.3
- This is a significant update but unfortunately not as big as I had originally planned because I wanted to fix an older error with the add-on file & to finally release the i18n for translations.
-added configuration toggle to opt in & out of Perfection requirements. Hopefully I did it correctly & it actually works!
-reorganized a few data files
-more context tags & buffs!
-i18n IS COMPLETE!!
-many non-basic dishes now require a friendship level with vanilla villagers (but no mail currently - that is being researched & worked on)
-currently unused items are now "hidden" EXCEPT Saffron Pasta (available with Cornucopia Artisan Machines) because of its profitability for the farmer. If you want everything to show (for selling purposes or whatnot), just open the files in Visual Studio or an equivalent & you'll see the hidden content bookended by /* & */.
-added "contents.txt" to the main folder so you can see what ingredients & recipes you get when you have each supported mod. In the future, more mods like Wildflour.AtelierGoods & Cornucopia.MoreCrops will have their own recipes.
::SIGNIFICANT NEW ITEMS::
[Home Cooking]: Various Pasta / Dough types, Joja Rice
[Animal Husbandry Mod (AHM)]: Chicken Stew
[Cornucopia Artisan Machines (CAM)]: Ground Salt, Herb Seasoning, Saffron Pasta
::CHANGES TO EXISTING RECIPES::
[Home Cooking]: Butter is now doubled to allow for switching to Buttermilk as a temporary fix - however, as Buttermilk is not currently used in any recipe, it is hidden. Baked Clams Oreganata now uses Breadcrumbs instead of Bread. Catfish Rice Noodle Soup uses Pasta. Milk Powder can now be made by Any Milk instead of Large Milk. Evaporated Milk has been removed & instead Milk Powder will be used for any items that required Evaporated Milk (Melting Cheese) since Milk Powder can be rehydrated and used as a substitute for Evaporated Milk. Sunday Dinner now uses Bean Hotpot. Added Clam Juice to Red Clam Chowder. Changed Mushroom Gravy to use Mushroom Broth.
[CAM Addon]: Catfish Rice Noodle Soup replaces Pasta with Rice Noodles & adds Chilipowder & Fish Sauce. Tomato Soup with Yogurt is now back in Addons after being accidentally deleted. This should use original ingredients + Plain Yogurt & Chilipowder.
[Cornucopia More Crops (CMC) Addon]: Mama's Red Sauce requires Onion, Mama's Frittata requires Nutmeg, & Catfish Rice Noodle Soup now requires Lemongrass, Onion, Turmeric, AND Lime
[CAM + CMC Addon]: Catfish Rice Noodle Soup omits Pasta from recipe & combines CAM & CMC items
::CURRENTLY WORKING ON::
-SPACECORE. I have recipe overrides mostly figured out with base HomeCooking recipes but I need to do more testing with the Add-ons. Also I need to figure out the texture override thing that goes along with context tags.
-Using all the hidden ingredients before I add more! Even though when adding one form of ingredient its easier to add all the other variations!
Version 1.3.0
changed Cream Cheese's recipe to use Milk(184) instead of LargeMilk(186) bc of the previous recipe change to Heavy Cream, also adding that requirement to Cream Cheese now.
changed Tomato Yogurt Soup's broth to use Golden Broth instead of Bone Stock because OG Tomato Yogurt Soup is easily cooked as is Golden Broth, whereas Bone Stock is more complicated & mid-stage so I figured it would be an easier recipe for beginning farmers without the Cornucopia Artisan Machines add-on.
replaced Broccoli Gratin with Broccoli & Goodness Bake as the ingredients were very similar to other cooking mods that added a cheesy broccoli dish
revised prices so that cooking, especially with the added ingredients, is more profitable & not just done for the sake of using ingredients. Recommending mods like Yet Another Cooking Mod & Market Town to potentially be able to make a living doing a Farm to Table / Restaurant style of play. Prices do not reflect modded add-ons, however.
if ANIMALHUSBANDRYMOD is installed, added new foods & ingredients: Sunday Dinner, Joja Ribs, Pot Roast Pie, Hamburger Soup, Pot Roast, Ground Beef, Ground Chicken, Ground Pork, Ground Turkey (for Mizu's Turkey) *these recipes vary drastically if you have Wildflour or Cornucopia mods
many ingredients aren't being used at the moment but that will change in future updates. it's just a matter or prioritizing dishes based on ingredients I already have finished & also stepping back & taking a look at ingredients that may only have one or two uses versus ingredients that will become staples in your kitchen with this mod. FOR EXAMPLE: breadcrumbs & tomato paste both may have a limited roles now but there are many planned dishes that use them in the future.
NOT INCLUDED IN THIS UPDATE but currently researching: i18n & spacecore functionality along with a reliable way to make two objects from one recipe, like when you create butter you should also receive buttermilk or whey in addition to cheese. I've tried various different things so if you have any insight please let me know!
Version 1.2.5
fixed butter as well as formatting errors in the optional addon file
Version 1.2.4
fixed a recipe requiring chicken broth when Animal Husbandry wasn't installed
Version 1.2.3
increased compatibility with Cornucopia.MoreCrops. Now recipes that were previously Wildflour.AtelierGood-only or had WAG-addons have subsequent CMC-addons as well. The recipes that were Cornucopia.ArtisanMachines ONLY will remain that way. Going forward I will try to keep compatibility more consistent!
NOTE: I do not play with CMC currently, although I suspect that will change in the future, so if you use it, ESPECIALLY with WAG, let me know how it goes!
Version 1.2.2
eliminated butter for heavycream in the WAG-addon as the recipe itself was changed
Version 1.2.1
erased evidence of failed vanilla experiment from the update haha
Version 1.2.0
adds multiple broths & recipes, mainly soup-based
Version 1.0
Cream cheese, heavy cream, lemon posset, orange posset
GoodJobSuzette's Home Cooking is designed to support the farmer's homesteading dreams by adding in basic and fundamental ingredients. Why buy heavy cream or cream cheese at JojaMart you can make them on your own? How about making stocks, broths, and et cetera from what you have or COULD have provided you have certain mods like Animal Husbandry, Cornucopia's More Crops, or Wildflour's Atelier Goods?
As a note, this is my very first mod for like ANYTHING, EVER, so it's very much a work-in-progress while I attempt to learn new things. I appreciate comments and helpful tips!
