Explore the supernatural side of Pelican Town with ghosts, magic, and creatures from the Netflix show Dead Boy Detectives!

This expansion adds Charles and Edwin (with plans for adding more characters), the Agency's Pelican Town office, Point No Point Lighthouse, Tragic Mick's shop, and the Tongue and Tail Butcher Shop, as well as several supernatural items and secrets to discover.

  • Ensure you have all dependencies installed (linked above).
  • Download the latest version of this mod from here or Github.
  • Unzip the mod folder into Stardew Valley/Mods.
  • Run the game using SMAPI.

Two full NPCs with over a hundred lines of dialogue, four heart events, and friendship perks:
  • Charles Rowland
  • Edwin Payne

Five new locations:
  • Dead Boy Detective Agency
  • Point No Point Lighthouse
  • Tragic Mick's Magic Tricks (with shop inventory)
  • Tongue and Tail Butcher Shop
  • Charles' Bag of Tricks Backpack

Also one magical crop, one catchable legendary fish, one quest--with many more to come!

I have more plans for this mod than I have time, so enjoy playing this release version while I work on other additions to the mod, such as:
  • Romanceable NPCs
  • Seasonal outfits
  • Additional locations: the Cat King's cannery, Esther Finch's house, the Creeping Forest
  • Additional NPCs: Crystal, Niko, Jenny, the Cat King, and more
  • Updating compatibility with popular mods

This mod has (limited) compatibility with other mods and expansions such as Stardew Valley Expanded, but I do not guarantee full compatibility. Please report any compatibility issues you may find, and I will do my best to include fixes in future updates.

If you are adding this mod to an existing save, it is recommended that you use Reset Terrain Features if you notice any map weirdness like trees clipping into buildings.
