About this mod
A helpful pair of UIs to aid you on your fishing journeys in Stardew Valley! A modded-fish compatible in game wiki, and a HUD to show what fish you've caught in the area, both work together to make your fishing escapades simpler.

How to use the Fishipedia
Of the two features, the Fishipedia will save you a lot of alt-tabbing. Upon pressing the config-assigned keybind (G by default), you will open the Fishipedia! It will display every fish you can catch, both vanilla AND modded, in an organized list. Based on the type of fish, upon clicking any of them it will take you to a sub menu with oodles of information. It even has all the relevant information you'll need for Fish Ponds!
How to use the Fish Helper HUD
The other feature, the Fish Helper, is an extremely versatile UI that automatically displays whilst you're holding a fishing rod. It will show you what fish can be caught in the current area, including what fish you've already caught. Any fish that are normally catchable in the area but cannot be caught due to current conditions will be displayed below the line, with icon(s) explaining why they are currently unavailable. I've included a handy graph to help identify what each icon means! The UI will automatically update whenever you catch a fish, switch off the rod and back onto it, or when you move to a new area.

Compatibility
- Works with Stardew Valley 1.6.15 on Windows (untested on Linux and Mac).
- Tested with the following Mods: Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, East Scarp, More New Fish, Visit Mount Vapius, and Stardew Aquarium.
- Should work with any fish mod that uses Content Patcher to add fish.
- Vanilla Professions Plus is confirmed to be incompatible with this mod and throwing errors, notably with legendary fish. This is being investigated.
- Works in single player. Untested for Multiplayer but it should work (Currently broken in Split Screen).
Known Issue(s) and Upcoming Features
The following are known issues/incompatibilities I am currently aware of and/or planning to implement features for:
- The Junimeel from Eli & Dylan mod for East Scarp has a specific weather condition to be catchable. This will be implemented in the next full release.
- There is planned direct support for Stardew Aquarium, but a pseudo-fix can be achieved with the Informant plugin provided on Stardew Aquarium's modpage.
- Hardcoded Mine Locations for the Icepip, Lava Eel, Stonefish, and Ghostfish.
- Information not currently provided: Catch Difficulty and SubArea specifics/Tile Specifics.
There will be an implemented config feature to resize the Fish Helper HUD in the next full release.Added in version 1.1.0IMPORTANT: Some modded maps do not currently work for the Fishing HUD. This is being investigated.Fixed in version 1.1.0NEW: More New Fish throws a multitude of errors on Fall 27th. Listing it as incompatible for the time being.Fixed in version 1.0.2

Credits
This entire project was inspired by the Master Angler Challenge video by ArgonMatrix. If you haven't watched his video yet, I strongly urge you to do so, since this mod wouldn't exist without it!
Huge thanks to the developer of the Almanac mod for their code serving as a reference point. This would have taken a lot longer if I couldn't see the gutty works of how they got all that juicy fish information.
Additionally, I'd like to thank the folks over on the Stardew Discord for answering my many questions throughout the length of this project. In particular, the folks over at StardewUI helped a TON with the front-end of the mod, smoothing the process considerably.
