A simple little mod to replace the "Introductions" quest with an alternative foraging quest. Useful when you have too many NPCs.

Tired of having 200 NPCs to meet at the start of your playthrough just for a quest with barely any reward? Tired of cheating the quest just to get it out of your journal? Well here is the solution!

FAQ:

Does this require a new save?
Yes! Unfortunately, quest criteria cannot be changed after a quest has started, so a new save is necessary.

What happens if I add this in the middle of a playthrough anyway?
Not much. The title and description text of the quest will change, but the actual quest objective will not. This is harmless and the original quest can still be completed by meeting the characters as normal. If added to a save where the quest is already complete, then nothing will happen. (So if you wanted to add this mod now so you don't forget it for you next playthrough, you can safely do that.)

What is the alternative quest?
It is a foraging quest to pick up a daffodil. The quest has no reward, but completing it will start the "How to win friends" quest just like completing the "Introductions" quest would have.

Will this make me miss out on dialogue?
No. The dialogue where NPCs introduce themselves has nothing to do with the quest and will happen as normal.

How does it work?
This is just a simple replacement using Content Patcher. 

Is this mod compatible with other mods?
Yes! It should be compatible with all mods except for Skip Start and Buffed Intro Quest
