This is a simple mod I made for practice with coding and spritework. It replaces the Earth, Water and Desert Obelisks with Terraria’s Forest, Ocean and Desert Pylons, respectively. Note that these sprites appear much shorter than the vanilla Obelisks. There are animated versions of the Pylons included in the download that are disabled by default. If you’d like to use the animated versions, you’ll need to install Content Patcher Animations and set “AnimatedPylonSprites” to true in the config file in the mod’s folder.
This is my first mod, so please let me know if I made a mistake somewhere.

8/11/2020 - Per user request, there is now a zip file on the download page that contains .xnb file replacements for the obelisks, under the Miscellaneous label. Installing the mod this way is not recommended because editing the base game's files can lead to compatibility issues with other mods. You should use the Content Patcher version of this mod if you are able to.
