I am looking for someone who wishes to take caretaker over my mods while I deal with personal issues. It can be a simple maintenance ownership to ensure it works with updates and gets bugs fixed, implement what I could not or expand with their own vision.
If you are interested in this, please drop me a message here or on Discord (stunkymcdoo) and we can have a chat about what I had planned, I can provide any in dev bits and bobs and chat about what you would like to do.

Welcome Foragers of Ferngill!!
I really enjoyed the Foraging aspect of the game, but felt there just wasn't a lot to find. So, I decided to create Forage of Ferngill. This mod adds dozens of new forageable Mushrooms, Flowers Fruits and more to the Valley all throughout the year. Some are common, some are rare and some can only bound found in very specific places so you will have to search high and low to find them all!
I'll be honest with you all, I've not been too happy with this mod for a while. When I released it I was pretty much the only new foraging goods game in town. Most forage mods just let you forage existing things that couldnt be foraged, or only added one or two items pretty much everywhere. I created FOF to fill the gap I saw in my world; A mod that added brand new things to forage that were integrated into the world in a way that made sense. I was happy for a while. Since then, Modders like Wildflour or the Cornucopia team have produced some excellent mods, to the point where I don't feel I even get a consideration anymore when people are making mod lists, or recommending mods. I am partly to blame for this as I am not an active member of the Discord or other message boards, but I'm not a very outgoing person anyway. This was a little bit heart-breaking at first, but I have forced myself to remember why I made FOF in the first place. So, going forward I am re-growing Forage of Ferngill into something else. Forage of Ferngill as it is has been "retired". The merged file will still be available for anyone who wants to use it, but I am reconsidering everything in the mod and re-growing eveything. Some things may not be part of my new vision for the mod, we will see.
The first of the regrowths will be "Much Ado About Mushrooms". The mushrooms part is what I started with, and what I like the most about this mod. I've done my best to produce some nice images to explain what 'MAAM' is about below. I'm no good with Photoshop and whatnot so these are pretty basic. I've also updated the changelog with a more detailed selection of changes.
Also honestly, and easier to admit to people I don't know, I've had a work stress related breakdown. The version uploaded isn't finished as I wanted to get Mt Vapius and East Scarp forage and gift tastes in, and add some recipe amendments for Wildflour Forager, but getting this released 'as is' is a step to getting things out of my head and into an area I can control.
Thank you to everyone who has used both Forage of Ferngill and Grapes of Ferngill. I hope to continue working on them going forward
*** A CAVALCADE OF KOMBUCHA ***
A Cavalcade of Kombucha is a complete re-brewing of the Kombucha section of Forage of Ferngill. The mod has been completely converted over to Content Patcher, so PFM is no longer needed. It does need Extra Machine Configs though. There has been some artwork tweaks and production tweaks, the biggest of which is Wild Leaf has been removed and you use Tea Leaves instead. There is baked in compatibility for those using Realistic Shop Inventories, and should be compatible with mod added items for making Kombucha. As before, it is not compatible with the old FOF Kombucha module, so if updating you will need to sell all your Kombucha, Scoby and remove your Scoby Starters and Komucha Jars before doing so. New games of games that haven't used FOF Kobucha before this can be added with no issues.
ACOK offer the following to the budding Forager
Scoby Starter -- Learned at level 2 Foraging
Kombucha Jar -- Learned at level 4 Foraging
Scoby -- Produced every couple of days by the Scoby Stater. MUST be indoors
Plain Kombucha -- Tea Leaves + Scoby in the Kombucha Jar
Sweet Kombucha -- Fruit + Plain Kombucha in the Kombucha Jar
Savoury Kombucha -- Vegetables or Forage + Plain Kombucha in the Kombucha Jar
Floral Kombucha -- Flowers + Plain Kombucha in the Kombucha Jar
Salty Kombucha -- Seaweed or Algae + Plain Kombucha in the Kombucha Jar
Umami Kombucha -- Mushrooms + Plain Kombucha in the Kombucha Jar
Nutty Kombucha -- Nuts or Seeds + Plain Kombucha in the Kombucha Jar
*** FROM SOURCE TO SEA ***
From Source to Sea is a complete re-write of the Coastal section of Forage of Ferngill. I had a bit of inspiration return so completed this to use in my own new game. As it seems to work nicely I thought I would release it. No fancy pictures for this one I'm afraid. Here is what would be written on them though. This does not mean I am back. I have been contacted by a couple of people about looking after/taking over these mods and I am confident they will do well.
FSTS offer the following to the budding Forager
-- 3 new types of Coral --
-- 2 new seaonal Seashells --
-- 2 new types of Seaweed --
-- 2 new edible Seafoods (both can be bred in Fish Ponds) --
-- 3 new edible Aquatic plants --
-- 8 new dishes based around aquatic ingredients --
-- 1 new Magical Potion --
-- Inter-mod integration with Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, East Scarp, and Cornucopia --
FSTS introduces a number of new aquatic plant foragables to the valley. Anisea-weed and Spysea-weed can be found occasionally washing up on shore after rain, while Aquamint and Blue Algae can be found in and around rivers and lakes.
In addition the the plant based foragables, there are some Sealife based forageables to be found. Horn and Glasseye shells was up on beaches, and Ferngill Scallops can be found and caught in crab pots. There are tales spreading of a black deep sea urchin occasionally washing up after storms too. If only we could get to the sea floor...
Along with the new foragables, FSTS brings 8 new cooking recipes for you to enjoy. Gus sells a particular recipe every other Friday at the Saloon, starting on the 5th. The recipes are expanded if you have Cornucopia installed.
You can also find three new types of Coral on Ginger Island. These can be combined to create a Coral Necklace, a wonderful charm that can be gifted as a universal like, or sold for a decent amount of gold.
*** MUCH ADO ABOUT MUSHROOMS ***

Below is the description for Forage of Ferngill -- Classic
**VERSION 5.0.0**
All modules have now been updated to 1.6!
Pretty much everything is new implemented. It'll probably only be bug fixes in the near future, but there are a few things I would still like to implement (once I figure them out)
If I can figure out how to get these items picked by the "Help Wanted" board as quest items I'll add that to each module.
Mushrooms still need their Gift Tastes and the Mushroom Log implementing. Once I have figured out the log I'll update.
I want to bring back the Remixed Bundles, but need to test them thoroughly so they don't break anything else.
I also want to expand Gift tastes to cover NPC of other mods. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
Enjoy foraging!
