When you load the game or enter NG+, you will be given a slate gives you the power to call into being a Companion from a possible previous reality. Whether or not you think you've been to another universe is inconsequential. Some version of you has, and that version of you knew things. Some of those "things" are the true natures of several of your current--or possible future--companions.
Open the DarkStar Emissary Menu to call an alternate state of any of the following companions into existence in this universe. The menu allows you to restore any of the members to their former Starborn Emissary glory; including granting them powers, giving them a greatly enhanced suit of Starborn Gravitas armor, and a very special Emissary-issue Va'ruun Inflictor rifle. In addition, their Emissary combat style and tactics will be restored, making them powerful companions to accompany you through this universe.
Some Companions reset when you meet them. It is highly recommended that you wait until you can RECRUIT a companion before you change them into Starborn. NOT waiting WILL NOT break anything, it just might fail to fully convert them.
IF you encounter a companion that seems to be partially converted to Starborn, or something seems amiss... swap them to Mortal and back to Starborn again. Yes, this works EVEN DURING COMBAT.
Changing a companion to or from Starborn DOES NOT edit their inventory. Anything you have handed them will be just fine. They WILL unequip any armor or weapons you've told them to use, but you may want to access their inventory and tell them to re-equip your items, if that's your preference.
ALL NAMED HUMANOID COMPANIONS can now be converted to Starborn. See data slate in game for more details, and full power listing.
THIS MOD DOES NOT EDIT COMPANION FILES and should not have any conflicts with other companion mods. All Starborn/Mortal changes are handled through scripting.
