About this mod
Don't like your crew's skills? Think they are subpar compared to those Constellation elites? Think they need a makeover as well?
Then this mod is for you!

Let's go to Enhance! is a mod that allows the player to do just that. It does so in an immersive manner by dialogue with a member of the player's crew. When landed at one of the major cities or Paradiso, the player will have a new dialogue topic with any crew member "I want to talk to you about something". Selecting that topic will allow the player to change their crew member's appearance or raise their skills for credits.
The change appearance uses the same method as my other mod NPC Enhancer Gun and has similar caveats. Take any custom, non-vanilla clothing and accessories off both the player and the NPC first before using this function, otherwise it can cause crashes or permanent black screens. Make sure to save their appearance with your name and pronouns (or just click the ESC key on PC). I do not recommend swapping an NPC's gender as it can cause weirdness.
The appearance and skill changes happen at the end of dialogue, you don't actually have to take a crew member to Enhance. Just have your spaceship parked in the same city.
Prices:
Change Appearance: 500 credits
Gain Rank One in a Skill: 10000 credits
Gain Rank Two in a Skill: 30000 credits
Gain Rank Three in a Skill: 60000 credits
Gain Rank Four in a Skill: 100000 credits
It should be noted that this mod does not touch the skills themselves. In vanilla Starfield there is no point in having a crew member with a rank 4 skill, it's the same effect as rank three. Some skills don't have an effect past rank 2 or even 1. Thus, this mod should be paired with another mod that changes the crew skills for them to be more beneficial.
Another limitation is that the vanilla Starfield crew UI will only display 4 skills. The only way to see all of their skills is to dismiss the crewmember from your service and recruit them again.
Future Plans:
Give the same option to raise skills for the player. Combined with a mod that removes getting skill points per level this would give an alternative way for character advancement.
Figure out a way for the NPC to covey to the player their current skills, either as a display like when they are recruited or other means.
Give the player the option to adjust the prices for an easier or harder game.
Option to remove unwanted skills. Perhaps "sell" them. The skill uploads have to come from somewhere.
Installation
There are two main files, one that has the esm and ba2 archive containing the scripts. The other with the esm and scripts folder in loose format. Use ONE of the main files, not both.
Load order shouldn't matter. It shouldn't really. But Starfield mod creation is still black magic right now, so what do I know?
