WHAT?
Just a simple mod that adds datapads in various places on Kreet and New Atlantis. Find and collect these to unlock additional backgrounds (and their relevant dialog options) for your character.
WHY?
I really like the background & traits system for roleplaying but being limited to just one background on each character feels limiting. Maybe I want my character to be a former Soldier turned Bounty Hunter who retires to live a peaceful life as a Homesteader. Or maybe a Diplomat that has a crisis of conscience and quits to become a Pilgrim. Or maybe a Cyberneticist who's cutting edge, self-made tech allows them to become an infamous Cyber Runner Gangster mob boss. Or maybe...
I also wanted to unlock these additional backgrounds through "normal" means that didn't feel too cheaty & at my own pace (when it felt appropriate to the "development" of my character).
WHERE?
I've tried to place datapads in areas that felt appropriate or relevant to the background they unlock (e.g. Combat Medics might work at Med Bays...). All backgrounds can be found by exploring the initial Research Facility on Kreet and New Atlantis. Here are some hints:

HOW?
Made with CK and uploaded as a full master for easy xEdit editing.
Install with any mod manager (preferred) or manually (you're on your own). Shouldn't require a new game and can be uninstalled whenever (note: you'll keep whatever background perks you've unlocked).
Should be compatible with everything, unless you have a mod that deletes the default backgrounds, or puts objects in exactly the same place as my datapads, or I don't know, any other weird thing.
