I was disappointed in the energy weapons that BGS had introduced in Starfield, because they shot a projectile instead of a beam. This has been fixed as best I can. The Orion, Equinox, and Solstice now fire an actual beam, just as science intended. Sadly, science wasn't powerful enough to remove the recoil. (This is an animation issue and I don't know how to animate)
