Say hello to Astrid! A Nordic CharGenMenu preset for your Starfield playing pleasure!
I created this preset because I'm OG Norwegian and thought it would be fun to have a Nordic-like
character in Starfield. She's a strong, beautiful female character that will make an excellent
addition to your game as a player character, companion, or crew. Enjoy!
Requirements

Optional
The mods below are entirely optional. These are the mods I recommend and currently use to
get the exact look you see in the photos. In particular Astrid's hair and eyes, however she'll
load up just fine with a vanilla game (or other body/face mods) and you can customize with
the assets you have as you please.
Starfield Hair and Beards - RTFP by zone79 - If you want the fetching braid.
ZBB - ZoNEs Beautiful Body by zone79 - My preferred body mod. (Adult/Nudity)
Pekoe Eyes and Lashes by Avarantia - To get those deep brown eyes. Load before:
Female Eyelashes HD by luxor8071 - Just makes the eyes that much deeper and richer.
STARQUEEN 5 - Starfield Female Skin Textures (SFST) by Fireapple - One of the best skin textures for Starfield. (Adult/Nudity)

Installation
Nothing fancy. Just download, extract and drop the astrid_jacobsen_1.1.json file into either your:
...\OneDrive\BingClients\Documents\My Games\Starfield\SFSE\Plugins\Chargen\PresetsOr
...\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\SFSE\Plugins\Chargen\PresetsIt can live in either place*, just use whichever CharGenMenu is pointing at.
If you look in one place and don't see a ...\Chargen\Presets folder, look in the other place. 🙂
*Because it can live in either place, I did not include a directory structure.
Use
As always, make a clean save before you start modding your game so you can go back if things go awry!
To change the player character:
Load CharGenMenu via the console with:
showlooksmenu player 2
Save your current character look as a preset before proceeding (F5)!
1. Select the Astrid_Jacobsen_1.1 preset.
2. Press R to Save the Enhance! look.
3. Enter Astrid for the Name. (Or whatever you like but she prefers Astrid. 😜)
4. And R to finish!
To change an NPC:
Make sure you're in first person view.
Open CharGenMenu via the console with:
showlooksmenu player 2
Save your current character look as a preset before proceeding (F5)!
1. Load the Astrid Preset onto your character and save as above. Same steps.
Your character will now look like Astrid. (If you saved your character preset, we'll get them back to normal in a moment.)
2. Open the console and select the NPC you want to change (you might have to scroll; the ID will be the one with their name in it).
3. Type CAPP into the console to copy Astrid's look onto the NPC.
4. Reopen CharGenMenu ('showlooksmenu player 2' as above).
5. Switch back to your player character preset.
Uninstall
Just delete the astrid_jacobsen_1.1.json file from the above folder (or whack it in CharGenMenu).
