Changelogs
Version 1.2
Added Street Sweeper and EM Equinox, should now cover all unique weapon skins in the game!
As a total side effect, also fixed a couple of typos Bethesda made in the "Clean" Kraken skin that lead to the wrong texture being applied to the ring around the tip of the barrel and the long barrel mod
Version 1.1
Added Immersive variant courtesy of Linnsanity, removed superfluous testing item
Version 1
Initial Release, covers all unique skins I'm aware of except the Neon gang questline Kraken variant because it was not properly implemented in the base game as an OMOD
Frogs345 has a better implementation that also fixes a lot of texture bugs with these skin variants. Highly recommend using theirs instead of mine. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/5726
I will not be updating or expanding this mod and consider it essentially deprecated due to the above better mod.
Tired of seeing the completely useless "Skins" section on all of your weapons?
Wish you could keep your awesome Deadeye Razorback or Tactical Grendel relevant for more than 5 levels?
Me too!
This mod simply makes all the unique weapon skins in the game function exactly like the pre-order/deluxe skins. You simply walk up to a weapon workbench and apply them from the skins tab. That's it!
In the future I'll probably make a second version that makes the recipes locked to quest rewards or acquiring the unique variant first, but for now as a rushed out proof of concept at least this will let people access that skins section and make better use of those skins.
Thank you, Linnsanity, for whipping up an immersive quest requirements version! Go check out their mods
