About this mod

So, Bethesda pretty much took my idea verbatim for their melee weapon modifications! Great, but that doesn't mean I am bowing out. The mod is now updated, using their system, and includes the same 14 OMODs I had before. It is now fully integrated into Bethesda's melee weapon modding system!

Included in the Mod:
  • Several cut manufactured resources have been re-added in for use in crafting these mods.
  • The following mods are currently added:
  • Titanium Alloy Blade - Reduce weapon weight and increase attack speed.
  • Folded Carbon Steel Blade - Increases damage. (Formerly High Carbon Steel before Bethesda took the name.)
  • Damascus Steel Blade - Increases damage and critical chance.
  • Serrated Blade - Increases critical chance, and causes a bleed effect.
  • Piezonucleic Blade - Increases damage, reduces oxygen consumption and increases regeneration, may give targets radiation poisoning.
  • Starborn Blade - Increases damage, increases critical chance and damage, slightly reduces gravity's effects, and regenerates star power faster.
  • Molecular Blade - Increases damage, doubles critical damage, and ignores a portion of armor.
  • Superheated Blade - Changes the damage type to energy, and has a chance to catch targets on fire.
  • Comfort Grip Handle - Slightly increases attack speed, and increases power attack damage.
  • Decorative Grip Handle - +5% Intimidation and Persuasion
  • Tesla Grip Handle - Adds a small amount of EM damage to each hit.
  • Stun Hilt Handle - Changes damage type to EM.
  • Gravitic Hilt Handle - Adds extra physical and energy damage, as well as critical hit damage.
  • Hidden Toxin Handle - Adds poison damage and a chance to poison a target with every hit.
  • Other mods are added but not in use without compatibility patches for either the Errata Standalone,  or All Trilogies Lightsabers mod, which includes Batteries and Crystals that can only be used with those modded weapons.

Installation:
  • Unzip the archive and put TNMeleeWeaponModifications.esm into your Starfield/Data folder (most likely under Documents/My Games/Starfield/Data), or let your mod manager install the file.
  • Install Baka Achievement Enabler and SFSE if you don't want achievements disabled.
