Version 1.1
Increased overall size of shop inventories, arranged for matching hats and outfits to come as a set.
It is an unfortunate fact that many of the best outfits in Starfield can only be acquired through murder, if they can be acquired at all. This mod resolves that issue by taking most rare, unique, or otherwise difficult-to-acquire apparel items and distributing them to appropriate vendors across the Settled Systems. You will now be able to buy salvaged Colony War-era armor from 1-of-a-Kind, UC naval uniforms from UC Surplus, a very familiar black dress from EIT Clothiers, and a bathing suit in Paradiso. Additionally, UC Distribution and Shepherd's General Store sell official UC and Rangers gear once you've reached the correct rank in the corresponding faction. It also renames many outfits that reference specific NPCs to something more generic.
This mod does not make all outfits available (it does not touch some outfits that I thought seemed too unique to specific NPCs, such as the bespoke Ryujin executive suits) nor does it affect spacesuits (apart from a few UC-related ones). If you would like a more comprehensive overhaul, see frogs345's Accessible Apparel Extended.
Possible Issues, and How to Find What You're Looking For If you can't find the clothes you're looking for straight away, don't despair. Unique apparel is more common with this mod, but that doesn't mean you're necessarily going to find it everywhere. I've tried to put different outfits only into stores that make sense to carry them, and to accomodate some degree of rarity. You're probably not going to find an Old Earth Business Suit at a general store, but you might be able to find it at a store that deals in antiques, or very rarely at the Trade Authority. Additionally, some outfits require you to complete certain missions - you can't get a New Atlantis Security Uniform without Sergeant Yumi's approval.
Additionally, if you've already accessed a shop before installing this mod, then they will already have an inventory generated. You'll need to wait until they restock for new items to appears.
Compatibility This mod edits leveled lists, as well as several clothing records to give them more generic names. It is likely to have compatibility issues with any mod that also edits these records.
