AMBIENT: - 6.0 is OUT, Please report any issues.
COMBAT: - 2.0 Is OUT!, New music have been added, it improved immersion and consistency. We are getting there, bear with me. - The combat finales right now work for their intended purpose. I will not mess too much with them until I'm completely sure of the 21 Combat tracks I've selected, Then I will create perfectly custom combat finales, I promise. Just wait till I get there.
Constructive criticism is encouraged. Please report if something breaks the immersion for you PLEASE REPORT!!!! help me out here it's getting hard to keep track of everything.
Thanks, I really hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
Excalibur 1981 Arthur: "I didn't know how empty was my soul...until it was filled."
It's a totally new game. I had no idea how much was missing from the game. Inon Zur did passable work on Fallout 4 but this game is just awful, uninspired, and bland. This game needs an outstanding soundtrack and thanks to your efforts we finally got one. Landing in New Atlantis I teared up hearing the music from the film Sunshine. Thanks for bringing back the emotion Bethesda got to complacent to remember to include. Maybe this music can make it EPIC this time around.
Love the music you chose for the UC Vigilance. It really makes them feel like a serious military force, especially after the whole Kryx's Legacy mission. As much as I do like the vanilla game's music this really does make a difference in how the game feels
because your other MOD Signs and SFX are hidden at the moment because of problems (that's what NEXUS give us as an info): is it safe to use it atm or is it better to delete it and wait for an update?
It's totally safe to use, But I've been having mixed feelings about that mod, I want to fine tune it before I release it again. Audio mixes are a bit annoying and images are not totally right, That mod exceeded the amount of work I tough it could be, and I don't want people downloading an incomplete version of a good idea. I'm going to update it before I open it up publicly again.
thanks for that info. One ramark from me as a non english player (i play it in german). The english audio messages are a little bit killing the immersion. it's ok, that's at the end my problem :) but let me ask: is it maybe possible to you to have it for the audios more international?
Uff thats a tought one, I don't think I can make a more "international" version, but what I can do is next update I will upload a version without the voiced signs so you can get the vanilla german back. That's easy to do. Thanks for your report
Came here to see if there was any news on that mod, it really adds to Neons vibe in a way that I could go without all the other Neon mods and just use that but not the other way around. Really hoping to see a newer version one day but understand it takes a lot of work. Enjoying it as is for now, thanks again!
This mod replaces the vanilla soundtrack, At this moment nobody has made a mod that "expands" vanilla tracks, so replacing them is the only way. You will still hear vanilla palletes since I have not modify them at all. They seem to fit right in and they have not annoyed me.
The only reason why anybody should ask for permissions when modding a game is if they are going to upload the same mod somewhere, or if they are going to use some of the files from the mod and publish somewhere. If that is not the case you should not ask permission to anyone. You do you
This has made Starfield sooooo much more immersive for me. Your music and the vibe it provides was exactly what was missing. I usually love Inon Zur's work, FO4 and Dragon Age Origins are such memorable game soundtracks for me, but you captured exactly that 70's-90's sci-fi vibe that this game's style was clearly shooting for visually. I feel all my sci-fi action/drama/horror movies I grew up with when I listen to this; Blade Runner, Terminator, Alien, Total Recall (the one with Arnie) so many other movies and games like Mass Effect 1. That haunting, beautiful, eerie synthwave vibe, that hits you right in the heart. I get the songs stuck in my head when I'm not playing the game! Sorry to gush but this is just 110% the soundtrack this game should've had all along. It's a hands down must have mod for me in my load order from now on.
=) This makes me happy - but you captured exactly that 70's-90's sci-fi vibe that this game's style was clearly shooting for visually - Thanks! That was the objective. I'm glad we finally got there.
I appreciate that you've released the expanded spreadsheet so it can be a modder's resource. I've largely taken a break from Starfield modding while waiting for people more clever than myself to figure out the music system more, but I'm planning to use it if/when I get back into things. Thanks for doing that. 👍
Hey you started that document, lol its practically 50% yours. =) welcome back! . I will update Ambient Overhaul some more but right now I'm too busy with the combat update still pending and the new Neon Signs expansion that in order to make it "right" is giving me more work than I anticipated. Hope to see you modding soon.

Your taste in choosing music is exquisite and your brain to create this is even more...
Meanwhile I'm on the Red Mile couch :D
BTW LOVE the Astral Lounge now, your club music is wayyy better lol
Do I have permission to add my own songs to your file once I download it?
I figured out how to change my own songs to WEM.
