-Turning Point has returned and is supported on every prequel and sequel map included the new map: Ajan Kloss
-Turning Point now supports a defend mode which you can download instead of the attack one.
-Turning Point now has two additional addons: "Free to Play" and "friendly hero ai" addon modules which disable all battle point costs and add allied friendly hero ai respectively. They must be placed in the load order after the main turning point modules.
-New Trilogy Hero AI can now use every available skin.

-Uncapitalises the new trilogy Hero ai names.
-Fixed a DICE game bug where Resistance Jump trooper AI used Clone Jet trooper abilities
-Fixed a mod UI bug where the game will spam "rank up" messages for players who are using classes on the verge of levelling up.
Version 1.15
Added reinforcement ai skins to Instant Action Improvements 1.15
Clone Jet Trooper: Legacy Default 1 (Kamino and Geonosis), 501st and Legacy Default 2 (Naboo, Felucia and Kashyyyk)
Fixed a bug where ai base class soldiers will remain stationary for two seconds after killing the player. They will now do something a lot more interesting :)
Darth Maul AI can now use his "KENOBIAHHHHHHH" emote
Version 1.14
Updated 1.14 (Ewok Hunt Halloween patch)
Alright so as you've probably noticed this mod update has come a little later than usual. This is due to some recent changes Dice have made to the ai objective logic for instant action which has completely ruined the mode imo, therefore demoralising me to a point where I wasn't motivated to try and update the mod as soon as the game update came out. The ai now are far too defensive, stand in large groups defending command posts even if there are no ai attacking them, ai seem to ignore all command posts on kashyyyk and the republic are now completely obsessed with taking one specific command post near the droid spawn on Naboo. I'm hoping this was an accident on Dice's part and they somehow got the instant action ai using COOP Defend logic but if this was intentional then god help us all lol. The mode is now arcade levels of boring. That being said they did make some nice changes to ai which allow them to use extra abilities for the 4 default classes and ofc they added the 32 vs 32 selector to the in game menu.
My main focus in this update was on arcade autoplayers and trying to deal with a modding tool limitation which makes the creation of new assets extremely time consuming and difficult to update alongside the main game. Hero ai in arcade is difficult because I need to create new logic for the ai to correctly use saber heroes but in doing so, I need to add these file references to other files called "network registries" which are all level specific and get updated with every patch. That means I need to add 10(saber heroes)*4(Hero ai files)*17(Arcade levels) = 680 references I need to manually place every update in order to get hero ai in arcade. As you can tell that is rather tedious and time consuming which is why I've been reluctant to do it up until now, but I have made a AHK script that basically does that entire process for me so assuming Gman doesn't rework the Frosty UI to make that not possible then I should be able to continue updating that in the future. Though it is time consuming so please understand if I don't do this in the future. I have also reused that script for the instant action improvements mod so that I can add hero ai skins (requires a similar process).
As for the future of the mod I honestly don't know how it will go forward. It is all very much dependant on if Dice fix this AI logic issue or not. If they don't then I probably will just stop updating the mod all together. Not out of protest or spite or anything but just because it would be a waste of my time. Instant action was fun until the recent patch which is why I made the improvements mod in the first place. If the mode stops being fun then I'm not going to spend hours and hours trying to update a mod that makes it slightly more bearable. Someone else can do that. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
Patch notes:
-Updated to latest bf2 patch
-Added optional Hero and reinforcement ai to arcade autoplayers.
-Added randomly selected hero ai skins to the instant action improvements mod
-Fixed a base game bug where kashyyyk clones and regular battle droid skins appear in Naboo and Geonosis respectively.
-Fixed a base game UI bug where the game will spam "rank up" messages for players who are using classes on the verge of levelling up.
-Fixed a base game bug where the B2RP Ai used incorrect ai names.
-Removed UI clutter "We are gaining reinforcements" and "Enemy is gaining Reinforcements" that states the obvious in annoying large text (Seriously though who at Dice thought this was a fantastic idea).
-Separated Free heroes and Cross faction hero addons (cross faction heroes will not have any battle point cost though and fix is too complicated to implement rn).
-Removed Turning Point optional file temporarily until I can sort out the new defend mode.
Instant Action Improvements is no longer supported. For a better Instant Action experience check out Instant Action Overhaul which adds new maps and gamemodes:
Free Heroes, Vehicles and Reinforcements: Cannot select Heroes before the start of the round.
Hero Conquest: Sound and performance can suffer due to the large amount of heroes. Unfixable and the mod is a joke anyway so who cares?
Hero Conquest: Maul's Saber throw can get stuck if thrown at Maul ai.
IAI: None English language users will see incorrect text in places
IAI: There seems to be an issue where Resistance troopers disappear in the spawn screen mid round and will then cause the player model to vanish upon spawning. I have no idea why this could be happening but I will investigate
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Instant Action Improvement 1.23 For several reason IAI 1.23 won't be released as a complete package on this page, instead the decision has been made to release IAI 1.23 as several standalone mods which were made from the ground up in the new Frosty to take advantage of its new functionality. Instant Action Overhaul contains the gamemodes and gameplay aspects of the mod whilst each new planned character will be released as a standalone mod. All of these mods will be compatible with one another. Instant Action Improvements 1.23 successor mods:
Separatist Magna Guard Reinforcement - To Be Released
Ahsoka Tano Hero - To Be Released
This approach will allow for other modders to make their own hero and reinforcement mods whilst being compatible with with these mods. Something which would not be possible if IAI 1.23 was released as a standalone mod.
