About this mod
Hi Billy Mays here, were you able to buy a card for RT, but there are almost no games that support it and especially SWBFII while there was a pre rendered scene of Ray Tracing using Battlefront 2 Assets? Than I got the mod for you. CapnNickSparrow proudly presents a Realtime Ray Tracing mod for Battlefront 2!

Go to the Battlefront 2 install directory and select "starwarsbattlefrontii.exe". SWBF2 uses DX11 or 12 depending on your preferences.
Step 3: Download the Standard Shaders if you want to modify color or use any other shaders (Recommended).
Step 4: Now, go to the Files tab in this NexusMods page and download my Custom .CFG + Reshade Profile with all settings predefined and put it in the install directory of Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Step 5: With the Files you have download from MartyMcFly's Patreon put them in the "Reshade-Shaders" folder in your Star Wars Battlefront 2 Install Directory.

Step 7: Press the "HOME" button on your Keyboard to open the Reshade Menu (You can change the Shortcut in the Settings tab), in the top you can select a profile and select the .ini file in your Battlefront 2 Install Directory that you downloaded in Step 4.
Step 8: If nothing seems to have changed, try clicking on "Edit Preprocessor Definitions" and set "RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED" from 0 to 1 in the Global Section.
Well that was it Enjoy... all of it is preconfigured.
NOTE 1: When I first started experimenting with this a few years ago I had to use a custom DLL from Project Debbie for Warframe. It worked but is currently outdated and had a few more steps. I tried using Gposer after this but it only unlocks Depth Buffer for select games, but not BF2. Than I found this and it works fine. The Depth Buffer is a must because the Shaders requires information from the Depth Buffer.
