I created this as a symbolic gratitude to the soldiers defending my homeland. Special thanks to the impenetrable defenders of Kyiv for sufficient reasons to stay in the city, and to the air defense systems for sufficient reasons to ignore air-raid sirens.
Although this mod is obviously pro-Ukrainian, I did try to make it a bit more "lore friendly", for example, I redesigned the national coat of arms to slightly resemble the Rebel Alliance symbol. As for the in-universe role of this unit, I imagine these guys to be experts in defense of populated localities on planets subject to CIS invasion.
