About this mod

Overhauls all 4 boons to provide smaller buffs in exchange for knowledge bonuses that allow you to skip the need for certain survivors.

Permissions and credits
This mod completely rewrites all 4 boons to provide small specific buffs with knowledge so you can actually specialize your community on a more smaller scale. Ever just had that one good survivor with mechanics that feels wasted except for those specific moments you need to craft repair kits? Or what about needing utilities just to build a hydroponics and nothing more? Then this is for you!

THERE IS 2 VERSIONS OF THIS MOD. SIMPLE AND ORIGINAL. USE ONLY 1 AT A TIME!!!

WHAT DO THEY DO?

Each boon gains 3, let's call them perks, that provide unique passive abilities for your playthrough.

-RADIO: Provides unique radio options.

-FEATURE: Provides a specific buff.

-KNOWLEDGE: Provides a set of specific knowledges for the community.

-MASTER KNOWLEDGE: Provides a specific full knowledge, eliminating a need for a survivor with that type.

But wait, that's 4?! Well you see, each boon is missing one of those perks in exchange for having two of another! Below is the full list of each boon and its perks!


Tycoon(Trader)

RADIO: Caches (emergency booze supply drop, luxury supply drop)

FEATURE: Tough Negations (30% influence gained)

KNOWLEDGE: Local Tips (Computers, Utilities)

KNOWLEDGE: Bartenders (Alcoholic Beverages, Influence, Chemistry)


Peacemaker(Sheriff)

RADIO: Dispatcher (-20% radio cooldowns, med supply drop, offers encouragement)

FEATURE: Volunteers (+50% facility action speed, +2 Labor)

MASTER: EMS Standby (Medicine and Surgery, +1 Daily Meds)

MASTER: County Towing (Mechanics and Auto Mechanics)


Spartans(Warlord)

RADIO: Mobilized (vehicle delivery, vehicle maintenance supply drop)

RADIO: Eagle Eyed (sniper cover, recon scouting)

KNOWLEDGE: Junk Armory (Munitions, Engineering, Metalwork)

MASTER: Gut Packing (Cooking and Nutrition, -30% food consumed overall)


Citadel(Builder)

FEATURE: Overseer (+25% scrap income, +50% build speed)

FEATURE: Spacious (+3 beds, -6 noise, +15 all storage)

KNOWLEDGE: DIY Homebody (Electricity, Gardening)

MASTER: Woodshop (Craftsmanship and Construction, +2 Materials daily, +100 Parts daily)

Since you can mix and match each of these together you can actually eliminate the need for certain types of survivors completely! This mod is made as the first of a few overhaul mods I have planed so hopefully it will age even better once my next mods come out. Give it a test run and let me know what you think, if anything feels off or any changes you may want to see.

Tycoon(Trader)

- 30% influence gain- Knowledge of gardening, agriculture and herbalism



Peacemaker(Sheriff)

- Knowledge of surgery           - Scrum Quirk

- -20% radio cooldown     - Knowledge of mechanics, auto mechanics and engineering


Spartans(Warlord)

- Knowledge of ammunitions  - Gut Packing Quirk(-30% food consumed)

- Vehicle delivery radio     - Knowledge of cooking, cuisine and nutrition


Citadel(Builder)

- Knowledge of electricity- Soundproofing Quirk

- +3 Beds   - Knowledge of craftsmanship, construction and metalwork


This version is less "cheaty" in my opinion and it is the one I prefer, but you can choose whichever version you wish of course. 

If you are wanting something a bit different that changes the boons I would suggest checking out Legacy Boon Overhaul by egovir, as it was the inspiration for this mod!
