It has been roughly one year since Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on consoles, and now the wait for PC enthusiasts is nearing its end. RDR2 coming to PCs on 5th November not only means that the game will see substantial visual improvements, but also additional official content, and - hopefully - lots and lots of mods!
When exactly does the game come out and where can I get it?
5th November: Rockstar Games Launcher - pre-order now and get bonus content as well as 2 free games!
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be out on Rockstar Games’ own games launcher (and the Epic Games Store) on 5th November. Pre-orders via the Rockstar Games Launcher have been available since 9th October and will unlock additional content such as new missions, horses, or outfits.
Epic Games Store, Google Stadia, and Steam releases
Pre-orders on the Epic Games store will become available 23rd October and the game will launch 5th November - same as with the Rockstar Games Launcher. However, some of the bonus content will be exclusive to pre-orders made on Rockstar's proprietary launcher.
Later in November, Red Dead Redemption 2 will also be released on Google Stadia, for those interested in checking out the cutting-edge cloud gaming service.
Lastly, a Steam release is on the horizon as well, though, we will have to wait until December for that.

but you know what's the coolest part of the your comment? "just stating my opinion as a 70 yo" this. Have a good day sir! :)
The American Wild West wasn't even close to being as wild as portrayed in novels, movies and TV. In point of fact other than sometimes harsh living conditions the towns and villages were in most cases more civilized and experienced less violent crime than the big cities did at the time.
The street gunfight/duel between two antagonists was almost non-existent. I believe that there are only 8 recorded types of the aforementioned gun fight that actually occured.
Like I said - good things devs can ignore real history for if they didn't I imagine most modern PC games would be pretty darn boring.
