Use Occult Backpack, a more balanced way to earn better backpacks. This mod is no longer under active development.

I created the Simple Bigger Backpack because there was no similar ModShardLauncher-based Mod on the NEXUS MODS. I was inspired by the idea in the Simple StoneShard Modding Guide article and created this Mod, which is really easy to use with other ModShardLauncher-based Mods.

If you encounter any bugs, please report them here. DO NOT EVER REPORT BUGS TO THE STONESHARD DEV TEAM WHEN USING MODS.

Features

  • The backpack only takes up 2x3 space in your inventory (the same to cloaks).
  • The backpack has 7x5 storage space.
  • The Tailor merchant of Osbrook is now selling a backpack in a new save.

Installation

  • Download the ModShardLauncher and extract it anywhere.
  • Run ModShardLauncher.exe once and close it.
  • Locate your game's installation folder:
    • Steam: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stoneshard
    • GOG : C:\Games\Stoneshard
  • Rename data.win to vanilla.win.
  • Download SimpleBiggerBackpack.sml and place it in ModShardLauncher's Mods folder.
  • Run ModShardLauncher.exe once again.
  • Click on the folder icon at the top and select vanilla.win.
  • Toggle Simple Bigger Backpack in the Mods tab.
  • Click on the 'save' icon at the top and save under the name data.win.
  • Start your game.
