Installation :
Option A : MSL :
- Download MSL from here.
- Download the quicksave.sml file from the files tab or by clicking here.
- Follow the guide on how to install mods with MSL here.
- Start the game when done patching with MSL.
- When in-game, press F5 to save your game at any time. Stoneshard's Icon should appear in the bottom right to let you know it's saving.
Option B for older versions : Delta Patcher :
- Get Delta Patcher
- Download the quicksave.xdelta file from the files tab or by clicking here.
- Open Delta Patcher.
- Click on the folder button next to the "Original File" field and select your data.win file (should be wherever your game is installed).
- Click on the folder button next to the "Xdelta Patch" field and select the quicksave.xdelta file you downloaded earlier.
- Click on Apply Patch and wait until it's done.
- Start your game, the mod should now be installed.
- When in-game, press F5 to save your game at any time. Stoneshard's Icon should appear in the bottom right to let you know it's saving.
Important Notes :
- Because this mod uses the base game's autosave feature, there can only ever be 3 autosaves at any given time. As such, be aware that quicksaving a lot also means losing your older quicksaves !
- The save actually happens AFTER the logo on the bottom right disappears. When quicksaving, make sure to wait until it's gone before proceeding !
- I VERY STRONGLY recommend checking the Bugs tab for known issues and limitations.
- As the game doesn't officially support mods and this is hacked into code we're in the dark about, please do not rely only on quicksaves, be responsible and keep saving as much as you can outside of quicksaves. I will not be held accountable for any progress loss.
