About this mod

Custom glasses for Kimberly to wear.
Also compatible with other body mods. So as long as it's anything below the neck, particularly, 001 folder mods, it should work fine. At the very least, Fluffy modmanager will tell you if it isn't compatible.

Originally, these glasses belong to Area, a character from Fighting EX Layer, but I made them form fitting so that they can sit on Kimberly's face more naturally.
Now let it be known that this is sort of a basic build of the glasses, so nothing too fancy. Depending on your graphics settings, you'll most likely notice a bit of noise dithering on the lenses, but that's because of the material it's assigned to. If it becomes an inconvenience to anyone, I'll try adjusting it. I might eventually add more custom designs to the frames, but I was lucky enough to get this working for now. I hope you all like it.

For such a simple mod, it really was difficult getting it to work. Like it actually took me 4 months, NONSTOP, to get this thing to finally function.
The main issue was trying to assign custom materials to them so that the lenses look like they're actually made of glass, or at least transparent plastic. Like the ones for Zangief's C3 costume.
Realized that's kind of impossible to do, so instead I tried simply merging the glasses with another mesh that had basic transparency in its materials, and the only mesh on Kimberly's default costume that has transparency was the hair. Even that wasn't easy.

Long story short, I was finally able to find a solution to import the hair back into the game properly and it works! At least in the way it's suppose to.
I have to be honest though, I don't think I could have been able to do this if it was wasn't for the help of a few people.

Which is why I have to give a special shoutout to sleepy_scrub, FishBoy, microKnightmare, and especially, robhal! Thank you all for dedicating your time to helping me with this strenuous yet simplistic mod.
