Installation:

Please use Fluffy Mod Manager to install this mod.

To install, open Fluffy Mod Manager then drag and drop the mod file anywhere on the Mod Manager window. Toggle the mod ON and launch game.

If it doesn't work, try uninstalling all mods in Fluffy Mod Manager → Re-read Game Archive. Then repeat the installation steps and try again.

KNOWN BUGS:
Mai's select screen outfit hair will not work properly, but after the character is selected the mod should work as intended. As of now, I will not fix this bug.

Background:

This simple mod was created as a by-product of me learning how meshes and textures work in Street Fighter 6 RE Engine. To be clear, this mod DOES NOT swap C1 costume to C2 slot as of now. So, you will have TWO C2 outfits in both costume slots if you install this mod. Like many users, I am a mod consumer and one of the main mods I used was robhal's C1 / C2 costume swapper.

After learning about their unfortunate situation, I decided to try my hand at making my own costume swap mod. I really only wanted to swap Mai's costume at that time and went ahead to just focus on that. Many hours of tutorials and trials later, I think I managed to achieve my goal. So here it is.

Disclaimer:
I am not nearly as skilled as many of the wonderful modders here on this platform. I just started. If you encounter any problems using my mod, you're pretty much on your own to troubleshoot, make it work for yourself or outright give up and move on to other mods.

If I start getting good, then maybe I'll provide support in the future. For now, just keep this disclaimer in mind.

Final Word:
If you're like me and only care about Mai, you can also take this as a temporary measure while waiting for robhal's official Costume Swap mod release.

Unless you're good at hex editing and are able to follow robhal's guide to patch their mod for yourself. This mod uses my own found methods of swapping costumes and to the best of my knowledge, is different from how robhal's mod handles costume swapping.

With that out of the way, I would like to use this chance to ask for help. I am now looking into updating alphaZomega's Versus mod by myself. If there's anyone out there who knows how to add DLC characters into the mod or can point me in the right direction, let me know please. I want to add extra costume slots for Mai for testing purposes.
